1.52 : The girl's uniform, is a NSF uniform. (I am a NSF scout) NSF means "Norges Speider Forbund" wich is kind of the "Main" scouts here in Norway. The green dude is a KFUK-KFUM scout. They are pretty Much the same as Us in NSF, but they have other plaques/ badges or whatever. :)
Can someone explain to me why some have the neckerchief toggle up the top and some have it tied together at the ends? I used to be in the Scouts years ago and had the toggle at the top and then I see Explorers have it tied at the ends - Is it just different Scouting sections or personal preference?
The knot at the end is a friendship knot and is usually tied on a secondary necker which is worn in addition to their normal troop necker

I think it is personal preference, mostly. Like, for being more comfortable, or something. ;)
