The power of camping and holding a match hostage just to get the W lol. You just gotta do what you gotta do against these try hard survivors with barrier, rocket and IT builds.
@@tr3duubyou can 99 the key or if you don't get the chance a stun lock might work 3 of y'all fight the raider and the rest plant but you need communication for that unfortunately
@@tr3duub I personally think the game should spawn 1 ETM at the last remaining 3 minute mark if the final last key hasn't been activated. This would help in forcing the raider to give up camping the last key spot and help survivor escape because why let 7 other players earn a free lost to a camping Raider.
As a precautionary defensive play as Raider I try hard to hit the spots on a map where the cooldown drink machines spawn and blow them all up. It (generally) pays off later, though lately with that skill that makes Survivors just pop their DC again to give them extra escape time makes it much harder on me to permanently down people (especially with the Dende skills now). With all these new skills and Raiders remaining mostly stagnant I don’t blame camping anymore. Camping was awful back before Barrier and IT, now sometimes it really is all you can do as Raider if you’re unlucky.
this is what it takes to win as a raider, just camp one point while you have dragonball and you win. They will never add any counter measures for it so abuse it boys
Honestly as a Beta Veteran can’t really say camping a key is toxic, and invoking the survivors to all come together at once to go fight the raider and plant the key is extremely fun! Because it’s either that, or the survivor team gets 5 keys down in 5 minutes, and completely wiped- hiding for the rest of the STM phase. Basically bringing my raider matches down to trying to squeeze out as much stuff to do in 6-7 minutes, and it’s basically become nigh impossible to get platinum Distance Traveled consistently. Like I swapped to maining Ginyu Force this season, and for 1/5 my matches the game’s over by the time I’m Captain Ginyu. Guldo dies/evolves, snowball as Recoome, Wipe the entire team at Jeice/Burter. So please, keep camping keys so I may have the fortune of actually playing the video game
Against tryhard survivors just camp an area where a key hast been found or camp an area where the key hasnt bee set. 99 keys is getting a lot more common now but it still falls victim to camping. Stall the game out and make the survivors go to you. Lot of people say its "toxic" but you only get to play raider knce every few games to freakin win 🤨
I did this to a lobby of maxed level survivors with the maxed level event outfits and after I beat them they called me trash and scared of survivors. Next match it was the same people again and I beat them with freiza 😂
People don't like this playstyle, myself included on the Survivors side. But people need to look at the match from the Raiders perspective, what else can they do in a key rushing situation?
@@ChrisJZedStormzone-fz8od I faced a premade recently and I was Recoome camping E on the snow map and this one guy messaged me saying I was trash 😭😭worst part was I was complimenting him and his team and he kept saying "Nahhh buddy ur trash. I won't take advice from campers." 💀
@@ironcane Fr. Basically what I was trying to say was If a raider does this (Not all the time. some raiders that do this just do it to be toxic.) It's because the game is moving too fast or survivors are too strong to engage with. Obviously the raiders job is to follow and kill survivors but survivors have insane movement options, especially in premades which makes it impossible to kill one. It's not the best feeling strategy but playing 4-6 games to finally play raider just to get matched up to a tryhard team and lose doesn't feel good. Neither does getting matched up with bad teammates right after feel good either
5:41 I still stand by what I say. Charming Pose is a lame stun. Sometimes it hits me when I'm not even looking at the person and is so far away, and other times it whiffs at point blank. It's a free move since you get it from Bulma yet it's more reliable than Solar flare which kinda bothers me.
I'm not sure why but the distance feels inconsistent to me, when I did run it would miss up close while the Raider is looking at me, other times it sniped a Raider. And same issue when I am the Raider, would get sniped, other times it missed when it shouldn't have.
Guys let me tell you all something helpful if you are the raider vs a premade and you already have a dragon ball and then you find a another via a crate don’t pick it up let them be as spread out as possible don’t merge dragon balls please
I'd also add and say leave it somewhere else like on top of a mountain or high place especially if its near a key so you can bait them to come and get one of them while you hold the other ball

Raider is so damn hard to play. The point is to be a powerful person but your basically nothing because people ganging up on you and IT and rocket spammers.
On the Survivors side this can be incredibly frustrating to deal with but as a player you need to understand from their perspective why they're camping. Most players don't enjoy this type of playstyle, but when Raiders get key rushed they're kind of forced to play this way. It's one of those don't hate the player hate the game moments.
I didn’t know playing defensively means camping, like I tell people camping only shows how desperate you’re, just because you can’t find no citizens and you failed to take down any survivors. Shows you have a lot of work to do playing as a Raider. Nobody forcing y’all to camp,
There's a difference between getting outplayed and getting rushed down by keys and civs. Keep in mind this game is RNG in terms of spawns for civs, keys, DBs etc. Not every game is rolling the same way. To combat this survivors can 99% keys so Raiders have a harder time defending against key rushing. This playstyle is not fun by any means and I don't enjoy it but I was given no choice. I understand completely on the Survivors side it is really boring to play against but you're forcing the Raiders hand here. If I would've left C and pursued Survivors they would've planted the key and I either would've been forced to immediately destroy the STM or lose. I find immediately destroying the STM to be WAY less enjoyable on both sides as opposed to what I did here. Regardless of preference, if you don't like this you can't fault the player, fault the game. No one is forcing me to camp like no one is forcing the survivors to find all keys within 3-5 minutes.
