I bought one of these and am very happy with it and THIS video was large in part what convinced me.

This is now my favourite acoustic review channel It's quite a difficult thing to describe acoustic tones in a relatable way but I think you do a great job with that. It's a bit like describing fine wines.....not easy without sounding pretentious. Well done.

Thanks Ben, interesting sound similar but smaller sounding than a J200. On your recommendation I picked up my Taylor AD27 on Saturday and it is phenomenal. Thank you, Love your reviews

Fabulous sounding guitar with your mic set up. Is it as even across the range in person as it comes across on the recording?

Hi! Would it be possible to do a comparison between this and the ad27, please?

Maybe one day you can make it out to the California factory, and even the Tecate, MX one too.

Monday morning goodness.... Love it! Didn't add anything to the theme either 😉

Serious mic set up there, ably demonstrating how internal pickups will never really get there. But it seems a great guitar for a modern church or touring folkie with a fair budget

Please could someone remind me the name of the piece used for the demo at the start of the video?

Only being honest about my experience in person with this model...Definitely thin tin sounding with no color or ring in the tones. An overly stiff guitar, that will not change much over the years. . They certainly have created a new Taylor tone....yuck! I think Andy is just making things up as he goes along, thinking things will sell based on new ideas! Sounded like an tele unplugged! After playing one at Guitar Center, I ask myself...WHY? When I plugged it in, sounded even worse, even EQ'd. These will be abundant used cheap in the near future I'm predicting... Why is everyone on UT pushing these guitars...A good guitar should be able to play any music. This guitar is very overpriced and there are probably no other guitars with a maple tops because it just doesn't work!

I put Phosphor Bronze on mine and it's different than the limiting strings it comes with.
