- In this Finnish lesson we will understand the difference between the words: täällä and tässä! 🤗 Tässä actually has three ways that you can use it so we will go over those as well.
Recap:
- Täällä = Here (a general, static location near the speaker)
- Tässä = Right here (specific spot where the speaker is)
-
Three ways to use tässä:
1. As an adverb to mean "right here"
2. As the inessive case form of tämä meaning "in this" (in this thing/object/location)
3. Here you go (to say here you go, when giving something to someone)

Then: Sidney rolls in the dirt in the exact spot in the forest (which she definitely likes and always chooses for that), or in the forest in general 😅But, if Sidney likes to roll in dirt only in THIS forest but not in THAT (another) one...
Tässä you use when you are talking specivic object. while täällä using in general object . simple👏🏻
Yep!
Your explanations are so good and clear. Kiitos!🙂
Kiitos! I’m really glad :)

Exactly

Thank you!
Great video, cleared up a lot of confusion for me. But -1 point in the art department due to lack of cast shadow in the picture at 3:47.
Kiitos opettaja❤

Täällä universumissa on kiva olla. It's nice to be here in the universe. vs Tässä universumissa on kiva olla. It's nice to be in this universe.
Спасибо большое за видео!
Moi!minä ymmärin nyt❤
kiitos se on mukava
I think you maybe could have mentioned that "täällä" should not be confused with "tällä".
True! Good point
Kiitos paljon ❤
Kiitos! :)
Kiitos paljon

Kiitos paljon!!!
Kiitos sullekin!
Kiitos!
Kiitos :)
I was just wondering this. You read my mind
Yay! haha
Kiitos sun videoista ja hyvistä selityksistä. Tää oli tosi hyödyllistä. Haluaisin, että sä teit videon aiheesta "partitiivi, objekti, nominatiivi" ja mitä eroa on niistä, koska tää on aika monimutkainen teema suomen kielioppista. 🙏🙏
Kiitos tosi paljon kommentista ja aiheiden ehdotuksista! :)
Hei! Kiitos! A ghost is standing next to you and you would say, "Tässä on aave". If there are ghosts in a big room, you would say, "täällä ovat aaveet" (there are ghosts around you in a big room, for example, one ghost is standing at the corner of the room, other ghost is sitting on the armchair, other one standing on the table in a big room) Am I right? I hope I am right. Kiitos paljon. I know Finnish language is really difficult, but I am trying to challenge it.
"Tässä on aave." = Right here is a/the ghost.
"Täällä on aave." = There is a ghost (around) here.
"Täällä ovat aaveet." = The ghosts are around here.
"Täällä on aaveita." = There are (some) ghosts (around) here.
Note that the form "aaveet" includes a definitive or total sense, so it would usually translate as "THE ghosts", I would say.
in your previous video, you just mention to me in my comment about learning languages that in your free time you’re study Finnish more but beside that, you’re learning Korean too, is that right?
I took a few lessons before I traveled there earlier this year, but I don't study it actively
Moi!😊How about the expression "same here" how to say it?😊
Is it wrong if I say "Tässä puistossa on paljon muurahaisa" considering that "puisto" is not specific but the whole park?
You can say that! You would have to be in that park or pointing at the park when saying that though. Kinda like saying: In this park right here there are a lot of ants, :)
Kiitos vastauksestanne
Heippa, Kat! Tassa in italian (written exactly as you read) is a bad thing for we Italians
(It means "tax")😬
It's weird that the same word (even if the wowels are different) has such a different meaning from a language to another.
Oh really! Wow haha
Tassa paljon
Kiitoksia
In "Tässä on sun kuittini", is "sun" puhakieli for "sinun" ?
Yes “sun” is puhekieli for “sinun”
How about tuo, tuossa and tuolla?
next video!
Wow...under the tree in the park, specific, in the park, general. In the park, specific, in Finland general. In Finland, specific, in Europe, general. In Europe, specific, in the world, general. In the world, specific, in the solar system, general. In the solar system, specific, in the Galaxy, general?
Tykkään olla täällä on channel! 😊
Kiva :D
Whats confuses me is the fact that the cases dont agree with each other sometimes: p.e: täällä talossa, and not täällä talolla. I guess u could say the second but the meaning would shift, right?
Same goes when you ask "missä"? And we respond with ___-lla/llä, "mistä?"... ___-lta/ltä. But "mihin(/minne)" is answered in the same case!
I guess thats how the language works...
There is also a difference between "täällä" and "tällä". "Täällä" means " over here, around here", but "tällä" is in the adessive case and means something like "on this, with this, at this" etc...
"Istuin tällä tuolilla." - "I sat on this chair."
@@justaname1837 u just blew my mind
How old are you ?
paljon kiitoksia
