    Pain free you is almost spiritual growth. I was going through bizarre panic attacks that were almost resolved by watching pain free you videos and getting some prayers from a Catholic priest. It was a great combination. The more you fight and win using all techniques you have, the easier it will be next time. Belief is key. Community or getting help is key.

    I was feeling like real trash last night. Made the decision to go out and see some friends and la-dee-dah, I felt better. Social connection is medicine. I'll never allow myself to isolate again. Thanks Dan

    Thnx for this video.
    A topic that I find hard is being self compassionate. I find myself self self pitying sometimes which is not being self compassionate and self pity is more in the danger aerea

      Self love not same as self pity.
      No one wants pity animals included.
      It says you are powerless which is not true only perceived state which can be changed. Mind reset is v important combined with inner work. The 2 together psycho spiritual. Dan s training is helpful for sure …

      This is something I’ve struggled with for as long as I can remember but I’m starting to feel the tide shift now. I’m not quite sure how or why but I’ve somehow started to see my brain as a terrified 2 to 4 year old (changes depending on the day and situation) and I end up feeling so sad for it because it’s trying soo hard and doing its absolute best and all I’ve done for years is berate it and cuss at it and frankly hate it. And that makes me sad but also makes me soften towards it because it’s actually not doing anything wrong, just has the wrong info and is acting on that and that’s not its fault for having the wrong info. And I think about how I’d be really upset if I was doing my best and the person most precious to me just keeps screaming at me and telling me how stupid and useless I am when I am giving it my all based on the info I was given. Anyway, I don’t know if that helps you any but I empathize with your situation and I hope you’re able to find a softer and more gentler way to feel about yourself and your situation because it feels so much better than self pity ❤

    Thanks for the ‘to do’ list. I’ve copied it, created a quick note and pinned it to the top of the list. All great reminders and all reasons I’m living life again! Symptoms or not I’m making plans and sticking to them. Sometimes it’s great and sometimes it sucks but I’m living life!!

    I really like this video Dan, containing your top advices « to maximize the safety and minimize the dangers », as well as the very useful summary you've made in the description, and which I'm going to print out.
    Even though you've altready made similar videos in the past, most notably the one entitled "Consistent Messages of Safety - 24 examples", I feel your present video very powerful.
    Thank you so much 🙏

    Dan, can you do a video on fibromyalgia especially that when you exercise the pain really increases in your muscles even if you only do 5 minutes. It goes through the whole body and walking is extremely hard as I have atrophied muscles

    Hi Dan. I feel so inspired by your videos and starting to feel safe. I realise there is some way to go, but when I feel out of control, I just breath and say I’M SAFE. Somatic tracking is a massive help.

      @@wendycopeland5147according to another podcaster, it's sitting comfortably with the feeling/ emotion/pain..being curious about it..seeing it from outside of yourself....laugh/smile..telling yourself you know what's going on..take slow deep breathes..be joyful & kind to yourself....just let it pass...don't bury it..

    So am I never going to feel safe because what you say it about 6 minutes and 20 seconds is if you weren't safe you would be all crunched up and breathing shallow and that's how I am those are my symptoms I'm extremely stiff and contorted all the time and also I have shallow voluntary breathing

    • @PainFreeYou
      @PainFreeYou  4 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      I may have not been clear. You may be in a tense body because your brain is perceiving danger. But that danger may be perceived dangerous incorrectly. It is our job to try to loosen our body so that we can breathe more fully. That conveys safety. A tight body often indicates the brain is perceiving danger when we are truly not in danger.

      Literally lighten up. Do a relaxation video or learn to tense up each body part and then let it loose. You can do this. 🙏

      @@PainFreeYou thanks for the reply Dan I actually posted a comment on that tight muscle video a while ago with a question that I was curious about I'll repost the question here -
      Not everyone has pain with their tight muscles though :(
      Mine are just stuck in spasm 24/7
      I know you said your muscles loosened up when you got rid of the pain but if we have no pain in their still spasms all the time i wonder if it's not tms

    • @PainFreeYou
      @PainFreeYou  3 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@robertwilliams5618 Take the assessments to see if your tight muscles are from a brain perceiving danger. IsThisTMS.com Forget the pain - your muscles will loosen up when you have successfully neutralized the perception of danger with accurate knowledge that you are not broken and are actually safe.
