I totally agree. I so much wanted to try ND shadows with a mini palette, and upon further investigation, I found mini retro the most beautiful and appropriate to me. I actually love grey shadows on me. I wore it at one of the birthday parties and I got a lot of compliments. I have a very pale, neutral to cool toned complexion
I think it's not about how fair your skin is but rather the undertone. She's probably warm toned and that might be why some neutral/cool colors look dull on her
I like the green too but it does go kind of grey when it's combined with that palette's pink tones, especially if you have warm tone skin. At least it doesn't immediately turn grey then wear patchy like the olive in Safari (that palette breaks my heart).
I had to smile when you said that someone commented that in another video you contradicted yourself. I have no where near as much make up as you do, and if I tried to rank and explain what I have, I know I would be all over the map. In my mind, you are not contradicting yourself, you are simply explaining your preferences. I thoroughly enjoy your ranking videos, so just keep doing you.
I was disappointed when I went to ND’s website for Black Friday and saw the metropolis palette was gone. I wish she had sent out an email or shared on Instagram that it was almost sold out and wasn’t coming back. I held off getting the gold palette because I felt like the metropolis palette was similar enough that I didn’t need both and I preferred the metropolis a bit more. I had planned to pick it up during Black Friday. Now I’m just out of luck on both palettes. 🤦♀️🤷♀️ Though, I’d love a midi size palette that merges both of those palettes. That would be great! 😊
Patty! You would LOVE the Biba palette!!! If you Love the Gold big palette I just know you will love the Biba. My eye looks ALWAYS turns out perfect with this pallet! It really compliments blue eyes!! You need to get this one next it’s so versatile!
Yes! That GOLD palette is my HG. I have the exact same eye color as you, this is why I watch when you do all your eye looks! Got great ideas from you, and those rephr brushes! Chefs kiss. I also heart the Bronze palette. I enjoy the Sunrise palette because of the muted pinkish/burgundy colors, also those yellow shades. It also has a couple of unique shimmers in it. I have the midi Retro, I also enjoy it as well. It does have some taupe shades in it, as well as the pink/mauve/purple. You are right about the shimmers in it, & the shade Patty was a disappointment to me Too dull on me anyway. I need to be in the mood for it, depending on clothing . But, for travel, it’s the Gold one I take with me.

I don’t understand why people feel the need to post negative comments like somebody telling you that you contradict yourself who cares one day you like something more than you like something else on another day you like something else it’s not like this is life or death type of shit it’s all for fun and when you have hundreds of eyeshadow palettes it’s almost impossible to decide which one you like more

I really wish we could get more olive green centered palettes. I do love the mini retro palette. It looks good on my skin, and I am a lighter skin tone, but we are all different, and have different tastes. I would rank the mini retro palette in my top five ND palettes.

My favs in order: Retro, Biba, Glam, Bronze. Retro is HG because i love my pink, purple, taupes but Biba is the only palette you need for every occasion 💜

I kept telling myself that I was going to get the Metropolis palette but I’m like I’ll get it on sale whatever whatever and then I’ve been obsessing over her cream to powder formula and yesterday I realize that the Metropolis palette is full of cream to powder formula so I’m like OK you know what let me buy it and then I go to look and it’s gone I was so upset and I almost paid $300 for it from somebody on eBay and then I’m like no this is ridiculous I don’t need it I’ll just have to deal and then today I found it at suffrages for 128+ like $36 in shipping they only had four left and I picked it up and I’m so excited because I just and obsessed with her cream to powder formula
I agree with you on the midi Retro palette. I bought it because I thought I would use it so much, but I feel the shimmers are as disappointing as the ones in the Zendo one. Retro shimmers don't show up much 🥺
I have only 3 ND palettes - Circoloco, Triochrome and Metropolis (I'm into colors, so they were quite obvious picks) and would I have to rank them, the places would be changing from moment to moment, as it totally depends on the mood. Metropolis has the best matte formula, but I'm not using neutral half of the palette. Circoloco has great shimmers, and Triochrome my favorite colorstory, is the easiest to work with and I can make a lot of different looks with it. So it really depends on the mood, or style I'm currently liking. Those types of videos will not help anyone to determine which palette to buy, although with Natasha it can be hit or miss, so it is worth to watch reviews before purchasing. With already great palettes, everything depends on preferences, and preferences might change with time. It's not science, there is no logical explanation besides "now I'm into xyz more".
So happy I do have your number 1 too! I personally love it very much. Also finally someone who also appreciates midi zendo! I love it. I don't own trio chrome and still don't feel excited but I own a few more. I got sunset too and biba and mini neutral, coming, mini biba too. I love the mini palettes

The gold palette was my first and I'm soooo happy i got it. I have not dedicated myself to getting to know it well enough yet, but its time will come. I sat and thought about the order in which i would want to have her midi/big palettes for now, and it would be gold-metropolis-bronze-sunrise (the only other one i own) -retro (i own a few shades that work maybe even better than that already) - love - zendo - triochrome (just for the mattes) - circo loco- glam (again i own many similar shades so i would need it). I would also like to have coral and cranberry to exchange some shades from the gold palette and make it more versatile, but the mini mini ones don't really interest me. 😔 I'm so sad metropolis is gone, and i hope to get my hands on the bronze palette sometime... 😍
I agree with you regarding the retro. Feel like all looks turn out similar. I prefer smaller palettes with 2-3 distinct looks. Adding the mini Star to my wish list.

The Bronze palette works better for me now that I use the Zendo with it. I had no idea you combined the glam and the Bronze palette! I always thought the glam too cool for me, but I might pick it up this year. But now i'm super bummed out I didn't pick up the Gold palette.
This is a brand that I made myself buy last year. I had 2 alter ego dupes that I was happy with, but been an eyeshadow collector I thought why not. So I bought the Bronze, the Retro and the Zendo, of which the Zendo is my fav. The Bronze shimmers migrate all over my face as the day go by, the Retro is just too pinky-purple, but the Zendo is just my cup of tea, and most used palette right there with my UD Born to Run palette. I almost bought the mini Zendo and might still buy it, but $25, $65 or $125 is more money than I want to afford for the looks I create vs their shelf life. I wish I could bring myself to buy the Triochrome, because it speakes to me, but can’t pay that price or PM prices. Buck per use is not cost effective. Overall, I have to say, love her mattes, some of her color stories ( which is why I am ok with Alter Ego) and her packaging. Haven’t been able to wear her cream to powder effectively yet, and the more reflective and glittery her shimmers, the less I’m going to wear ot

I knew that circo loco and triochrome weren't going to be everyday palettes so I summoned my willpower and held off for buy 1 get 1 pre-Black Friday. I'm very happy with that decision.
I'm just realizing that Zendo reminds me of Metropolis... a few blues/greens and then contrasting warm orange / red colors. Even the duochrome. Zendo is just missing the gold shades.
I mean if you ranked these exact palettes next year you might have a different ranking even just because styles change and tastes change. So I think it’s totally fine if you change your mind from video to video! I do agree with you on midi retro though. Although I like it, I definitely prefer warmer pink tones to cool ones and I wish there was a bit more shine to some of the shades.
If I lived in the US and had been given the chance to grab the gold palette at a reduced price at Sephora, I would have snatched it up! Would she ever consider remaking the gold in a mini palette? Finally Mini Retro is ranked last😭! I bought it as I saw many videos in which it was always ranked in the first place. But when I tried it on my eyes, it just did not work for me. I could not see that a ‘green’ shade but more a grey one. Likewise, I got the same problem as I have tan skin undertone, a cool tone palette just doesn’t suit my skin tone well.
I think the retro is disappointing for me because of the lack of exciting shimmers. I love the colors. Just a, not excited about the shimmers. Love the creamy mattes in it tho.
I just got into eyeshadow this year and I bought all of the Natasha‘s this year and a lot of other stuff like pat and huda and charlotte woooo definitely a hurt piece on the pocket. Hmmmm it would be difficult to rank my palettes I feel like I’m ranking children but I feel like the only two maybe three that I regret buying honestly are circo loco I’ve used it like twice the love palette which I don’t think I’ve ever used and the mini love because there’s a lot of fall out and I do my base first

To whoever commented that patty contradicts herself alot you do release you have the ability to not watch her right? Or maybe pay attention that these rankings are specifically her preference at the time. I can't tell you how many times she has said her preferences may change based on her mood. You don't ever lean towards one color story over the other depending on your mood? Ignore people like that patty you do great and so many of us love listening to your opinions.
Seems like no TH-camr I watch (who loves Natasha denona) owns any of the "eyeshadow palette 5" (the slightly larger, more expensive 5 pan palettes). Are they not good or something? 😅
I've got one of them. Palette 11. It's super special to me because it has all the green shades from the green brown palette! Super fun shimmer shades. You def need another palette to make a mixed look with it though. The shimmers are beautiful though.

Loved this video, mini Retro is my favourite mainly as I have tanned skin and grey/brown hair. Mini Glam is my ultimate favourite ND palette x

The Bronze palette works better for me now that I use the Zendo with it. I had no idea you combined the glam and the Bronze palette! I always thought the glam too cool for me, but I might pick it up this year. But now i'm super bummed out I didn't pick up the Gold palette.

This is a brand that I made myself buy last year. I had 2 alter ego dupes that I was happy with, but been an eyeshadow collector I thought why not. So I bought the Bronze, the Retro and the Zendo, of which the Zendo is my fav. The Bronze shimmers migrate all over my face as the day go by, the Retro is just too pinky-purple, but the Zendo is just my cup of tea, and most used palette right there with my UD Born to Run palette. I almost bought the mini Zendo and might still buy it, but $25, $65 or $125 is more money than I want to afford for the looks I create vs their shelf life. I wish I could bring myself to buy the Triochrome, because it speakes to me, but can’t pay that price or PM prices. Buck per use is not cost effective. Overall, I have to say, love her mattes, some of her color stories ( which is why I am ok with Alter Ego) and her packaging. Haven’t been able to wear her cream to powder effectively yet, and the more reflective and glittery her shimmers, the less I’m going to wear ot

I knew that circo loco and triochrome weren't going to be everyday palettes so I summoned my willpower and held off for buy 1 get 1 pre-Black Friday. I'm very happy with that decision.
I'm just realizing that Zendo reminds me of Metropolis... a few blues/greens and then contrasting warm orange / red colors. Even the duochrome. Zendo is just missing the gold shades.
I mean if you ranked these exact palettes next year you might have a different ranking even just because styles change and tastes change. So I think it’s totally fine if you change your mind from video to video! I do agree with you on midi retro though. Although I like it, I definitely prefer warmer pink tones to cool ones and I wish there was a bit more shine to some of the shades.

So weird. The green from the 5 pan retro looks green on my skin. I am pale( usually towards the fair spectrum of foundations).
If I lived in the US and had been given the chance to grab the gold palette at a reduced price at Sephora, I would have snatched it up!

I think the retro palette is beautiful, but you almost get only rosy, pink looks with it. I love it, but understand that you don't use it so often. :)

I bought it as I saw many videos in which it was always ranked in the first place. But when I tried it on my eyes, it just did not work for me.
I could not see that a ‘green’ shade but more a grey one. Likewise, I got the same problem as I have tan skin undertone, a cool tone palette just doesn’t suit my skin tone well.
I think the retro is disappointing for me because of the lack of exciting shimmers. I love the colors. Just a, not excited about the shimmers. Love the creamy mattes in it tho.

I just got into eyeshadow this year and I bought all of the Natasha‘s this year and a lot of other stuff like pat and huda and charlotte woooo definitely a hurt piece on the pocket.
Hmmmm it would be difficult to rank my palettes I feel like I’m ranking children but I feel like the only two maybe three that I regret buying honestly are circo loco I’ve used it like twice the love palette which I don’t think I’ve ever used and the mini love because there’s a lot of fall out and I do my base first

To whoever commented that patty contradicts herself alot you do release you have the ability to not watch her right? Or maybe pay attention that these rankings are specifically her preference at the time. I can't tell you how many times she has said her preferences may change based on her mood. You don't ever lean towards one color story over the other depending on your mood? Ignore people like that patty you do great and so many of us love listening to your opinions.

I've got one of them. Palette 11. It's super special to me because it has all the green shades from the green brown palette! Super fun shimmer shades. You def need another palette to make a mixed look with it though. The shimmers are beautiful though.
