    When you do forgive someone that has hurt you in any way you are not condoning what they did but releasing yourself from that hold that wrong has on you. Forgiving them doesn't mean you have to forget what they did or socialize with them or be anywhere where they are if you don't want to but forgiveness releases you to live a better life than you would if you held onto this grave injustice. If you don't forgive, this person continues to hurt you without them having to do a thing. You can reclaim your power, peace in your soul & take away this negative hold they have over you by forgiveness & you'll finally be free. The life we have on this earth is like the blink of an eye. We don't want to carry unforgiveness into eternity with us.

    Sometimes resentments are expectations that go unfulfilled, and I must remind myself that the person I feel resentful toward has no obligation to fulfill my expectations. They are who they are, and they will not change just because I wish they would. If they do not respond to me the way they “should” (in my mind), then a resentment can start simmering. It feels very much like a slow burn, and it’s painful, but only to me, not to the other person. I try to catch these early, and to pray to have them lifted from me. Eventually, if I approach God with an honest, open and hopeful heart, these resentments are lifted. At times they return, and I must restart the process. Life is hard enough, so I try not to make it more difficult with expectations of others. Thank you so much Lorna, for your inspired words and your loving heart💗

    There is an African proverb “The axe soon forgets but the tree always remembers” the meaning is self explicit the one that causes injury to another quickly forgets but the person they injure always remembers.

    Thank you, Lorna, I understand, what you are talking about. In fact, I experienced spirit talking to me about: „Forgive them, for they are not aware what they are doing to you.“ I was surprised to hear this voice clearly. And I prayed and asked for forgiveness for myself and the people around me in my job. It was amazing. I knew instantly, everything will be fine. And it is. 🙏🏻☺️❤️

    At this time on Earth each One may find this message of Truth so important - to look within and ask for forgiveness and forgive ourselves for anyone we may have harmed in any way known or unknown - and to have forgiveness towards any one who has brought harm to us in any way - Asking God and the Angels if this is difficult. They truly do help us see and understand how important this is and how this can help our world be more Peaceful. Thankyou Lorna for bringing the Truth forward for All to consider. 🙏🎁🕊️💕🌎💕

    It’s a process that can’t be forced. Emotions aren’t like a faucet. You can’t turn them on and off just like that. You accept, mourn, feel the unpleasant feelings, and ask Spirit for help to forgive that person. Sometimes you have to understand something in order to let it go. Sometimes it just comes very quickly and easily. I say, be gentle💖 with yourself!

    Forgiveness is so powerful and it can be difficult to do, yet when even a little of the darkness, pain or hurt is released and the powerful energy of forgiveness is experienced, then the Healing happens in the most incredible way especially with the comfort of our Guardian Angel . Thank You Lorna for reminding us about the power of Forgiveness. 💗 When I have the need to forgive I say the prayer of the Arch Angel Michael that Lorna gave us. Remember we have all the tools we need to live in Peace. 🦋

    Dear friends, if anyone reading this is suffering from PTSD/C-PTSD and/or severe depression caused by trauma, please remember to get the help you need. The group or therapist can help you to move through the process of forgiveness after you have worked with the pain, shame, guilt, and grief that trauma can cause. As a human community, we need to remember that to begin the process of forgiveness survivors need a space of protection, caring, and compassion, which only a loving community can provide. That would be us. I find that the incapability to forgive is often linked with isolation. We all have a part in making the world a better place. One of the things to do is not to turn away from survivors and let them handle their pain on their own. They will forgive in their own good time if we hold them to allow them to do so.

    This is exactly what I am going through. I have tried several times to forgive those that have hurt me. I would say the words, "I forgive you", but never felt it. As I am listening to what you are saying, I heard someone say, "I wish you forgiveness. I wish you peace and I wish you love". I felt that in my heart that I can say this of those who hurt me and really mean it. Finally I feel I'm taking a step towards forgiveness. Thank you so much for this timely message.

    I find that it’s not just the person that caused both physical and emotional injury to me I had trouble forgiving but I also had trouble forgiving myself for allowing them to do to me what they did, because the truth is people treat you the way you let them and although I was only a child at the time and I am much better at sticking up for myself now, I wasn’t able to stick up for myself then because this was an adult abusing me and I was just 5 years old, it was so long ago now but the damage this person did was colossal and yet I still felt that i was somehow to blame,

    • @mejohn101
      @mejohn101 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes. I know what you mean. It can really strike at my self worth that I was ill treated as a young child. Even tho I was so young, I needed to feel those faculties of healthy self-protection and they were hindered while still in early development. So even tho I rationally know I was young and not to blame, I still feel it as who I am, not just who I was.

    • @mygirldarby
      @mygirldarby 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Can you picture a five year old in your mind? Maybe you can remember a friend you had when you were very young or a cousin. Don't picture yourself at five, but another child. Now imagine that this child was abused the way you were. How would you feel about that child? Is it the child's fault that they got abused? Hopefully this will help you realize that a child is never to blame for being abused. Ever! They are innocent and they could never be the cause of anyone hurting them. I bet you would never blame any five year old for being abused, but that needs to include you when you were that age. You did nothing wrong and you did not "let" anyone hurt you. You were an innocent kid.

    Forgiving someone is very hard when people don’t treat you well but Lorna is right hard as it is, it’s better for the mind if you can lift your spirit to do this. I find it so hard to forgive aggressors of war however when there is absolutely no need for it. Peace would be my message and showing kindness and compassion instead of the way the world is operating at the moment. 😇😇

  • @VentureWithEleonore

    yes very much agreed, we need to give ourselves the time to process the emotions and honor the anger and grief, and once we've moved through that - everyone has their way and timetable - then it is essential to let go and move on by for-giving those who transgressed us - its the whole process, in my experience, that freedom lies. thank you for your beautiful gifts and sharings Lorna!

My question, since you see and speak with heavenly angels, do you also see demonic entities and, if not, why? You may have covered this in one of your previous videos, but there are many and none with that information in the titles. If there's a specific video covering this, please let me know. What about standing up to governments and injustices, how do we do this whilst forgiving them. By staying silent are we not part of the problem and condoning? Gets very confusing over whether we should speak out or just keep being hurt and allow them to carry on abusing rights, boundaries and injustices. How do things ever change if truth never spoken?

    • @mygirldarby
      @mygirldarby 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you want your government to make changes then you can pursue that and still forgive. You don't have to be angry or hold resentment in order to try to change things. It's probably more effective actually not to be motivated by anger over an injustice if you want to make change. If you can't make changes and you are being harmed by your government's actions or policies, maybe you can move. It wouldn't be healthy to live in a country where you (or others) are currently being abused, and I don't think it would be easy, advisable or even possible to forgive while one is currently being abused. I can't imagine trying to forgive after each abuse, knowing you are going to be mistreated again and again. So my personal feeling on it would be, if you love your country but your government is being abusive, try to release resentment and work toward making changes. If that is impossible, move to a place where you are free from that government and its abuses. Lorna didn't say we need to allow people to harm us and just forgive it every time. She seems to be talking about forgiveness after the fact, forgiveness from previous abuse or injustice. This is just my opinion, so it could be wrong.
