However, I would like to request you to discourage your viewers from minimizing, and if possible, stop buying anything made in China for three reasons: 1) The Chinese products are mostly low grade and unsafe, especially foods and personal care items, hence their low prices. 2) Because they are cheap, people tend to buy more of them and also discard them frequently with a huge negative impact on environment. More production means more emissions. Also, environmental scientists have found that emissions from waste dumps produce many times more greenhouse gas than burning fossil fuels. 3) Finally, buying more Chinese products enriches the Chinese economy. And, the Chinese use their economic power to bully the free world and suppress Tibetans in Tibet. Therefore, buying Chinese products is akin to buying bullets for your enemy. I know it's very difficult to avoid buying Chinese products as sometimes they are the only option. But, I have been noticing that since after the COVID pandemic, more products are becoming available that are made in other countries like Vietnam, Indonesia, Bangladesh, and Thailand. The point here is to absolutely minimize buying 'made in China' anything. I hope you'll understand my reasoning and, if you agree, will support this goal in any way you can. In my everyday living, I always tell the people I know and even sometimes people I don't know to avoid buying Chinese. products. Good wishes to you and your channel.
