      We have no choice. Live in a more northern town and you have to. Canada post is vital to all northern communities. I had to cancel all my stuff a while ago.

    I work for CP and I’m glad we were sent back! This strike is a “bread full of nothing”, workers cannot sacrifice our homes and family wellbeing for this never ending strike. Negotiate at the table, not at workers and businesses expense!

      Also we already pay the union to do the job we pay them to do, they had 1 year, yet they couldnt do the job we pay them to do.

      We quit years ago. It has not been more expensive. We actually get out packages, pay bills online, same with all our family and friends. Too many years of the worst service, much worse than every other company, at both our home and business. Life has honestly been so much less stressful by quitting CP. It has been about 7 years. Highly recommend.

      Port and rail are Government regulated. If you live in a small town or rural NO courier will deliver to you because it's cost prohibitive. Canada Post has a mandate to deliver to EVERY address in Canada

    Canada post needs to make sure that the mail they deliver are being delivered to the right addresses. I don't know how many times I had to do their job and deliver mail to the correct address. So get back to work!!!!!!

    2 new facilities in the last 5 years and $7k quarterly bonuses to management at every level under "hazard pay" not to mention their yearly bonuses or the $100,000 increase Ettinger just recived for the next 5 years (who's salary currently grosses $400,000k) could explain alot of their "loss". The $5m in "wages" they talk about include management not just union workers. You have a right to know what you're paying for when you shop at Canada Post so do your own research and chose how you would like to ship your finances.
    I challenge you to send a Christmas card with a different company this year and see what that cost looks like.

      This! If the union got everything they're asking for, they'd still be paid less than comparable FedEx and UPS workers. There are sources online to find this information, but all the main outlets seem to be interested in is shooting down the workers while hiding the facts.

    Should let them stay on strike until they start starving. They’re not going to pay the rent making $50 a day strike pay. A reasonable compromise would be for them to go back to work and clear the backlog since their strike at Christmas time didn’t work out.
