@jazzwiskey Thanks I'm glad this was helpful to you. I have been just panning it down. I can put 5 gallons in and get 1 out it makes panning it down a lot easier. I have looked at the Gold Rocket several time. Looks like to might work well. If you get one let me know how it works. Sorry for the delay responding.
Reguardless if your using just a sluice.trommel .grizzly.or shaker the dump box spray bars water allway sprays against the flow of the material . That way it pounds and busts up the material before entering the plant .spraying the same direction as the material flow just forces it thru , even dry piles with be pushed in the sluice.. ' sluiceing 101' time to sluice again in alaska. You can tell by the number of mosquitos per square inch..

Easier to use pex pipe and then you can set the spiral for the rpm, tilt and the retention time you are planning to use.
