This cube hasnt been as enjoyable as some of the others for me for sure, a lot of the planeswalkers feel out of place just being so grossly powerful without too many ways to reasonably answer them
These tinkerers cubes is about combos so removals light and the individual cards power levels are a bit lower. Still fun though. I played someone who managed to play the double your tokens enchantment and the tokens become 4/4 angels enchantment lol. You definitely want enchant/Artifact removal main deck if you can find
Not only was that fun, that was super fun! I guess you can definitely find entertainment in this cube as well. Just don't fall into the boring aggro trap. This was a thoroughly entertaining run.
Out of curiosity, do you play constructed? if so, is it something you actually focus on or is it just means to play more limited? Also, standard or historic?
I had a pretty similar deck in my first cube of this event, which sadly went 1-3. Then I drafted an absolute trashbag of a deck that went 7-1. Just Jund big dudes, smash the attack button and win. I'm happy for the result but having bad results with fun decks and good results with boring decks is disappointing
Love the idea behind the tinkerer's cube, but not 100% sold on the way they went about it. All the guides I've seen pretty much just tell you to play aggro lol, which, while formats can be really boring if no aggro is present, it sucks when the optimal "tinkering" strategy is to tinker a bunch of efficient creatures and press attack. Still would love to see you draft it a few more times at least. Maybe like Kamigawa the format's aggro wave will die down a little. If not, I've had no more success than 2-3 or so and want to know how to build fun decks and still trophy or at least come a little closer lol
The overall feeling of this cube is unexciting. It's definitely not a good thing to do if you're looking for an alternative to Kamigawa. You might have more fun playing standard instead.
Hey Numot, low key criticism here, but I'll sandwich it! You're one of the best on the Tubes at playing Magic: compliment. But when you do the arrogant role play e.g. golden god etc, it comes off, well, arrogant, and not charming: non-compliment. But you are a charming dude!: compliment. So there's my sandwich. Arrogant role play depends pretty heavily on vocal delivery, and that is one thing you don't have. Love your content, love all you've taught me about limited drafting. Just please no more arrogance. Much love!

I really hope they rethink the Tinkerer's Cube. There's not much room to "tinker" because most of the slots are taken up by mediocre creatures.

Yeah the removal in this cube is not great across the board and a kaito/wandering emperor/calix on the play is almost impossible to answer
The stockpile pick was the most disappointing pick ever.
This Tinker's Cube feels like a watered down, neutered version of the Arena Cube.

A fun spot the lethal at 25:20. A massive Niko make the nettlecyst token into a 16/16 unblockable.
I definitely agree that Strixhaven was one of the more fun recent sets, especially in draft with the mystical archive

You were thinking about the Arens Cube. Tinkerers Cube has a lower power level but cares more about synergies.

Got trophies with UBr curiosity and RGw Kiki Seasoned Pyro. Two 4c decks got me only 4 wins sadly. Will explore more, want to get some 5c nonsense.
