Adc is like support in that if you are highly ranked, you're probably gonna have no trouble playing the role because you've already seen how to position, and that's all adc is. You right click and position well or you die. Top lane is actually pretty difficult to play and not just get shit on. The most broken champions in the game are basically all top laners.
to be fair, its way easyer to pop off as ADC than it is as TOP, since you can kill 2 ppl in bot sometimes 3 or 4, but at top you only have 1 player to kill maybe 2

Anyone that thinks ADC is easy, go experience some support diff lanes, see how much you like to 1v2. Also enjoy how no one else on the map knows how bot lane works, and assumes it must be the adc's fault while blaming either both of you equally, or just blaming adc casually. Not the support who is 3 levels down and has been afk 3 miles behind the ADC all lane missing xp and providing zero value.

If we wanna talk about top lane agency over actually winning games, sure, it can be rough sometimes. But no other role in the game relies as heavily on their team as ADC. We can talk about personal preference all we want, but if we actually deal with agency over the entire games outcome, adc is horrible. There is a reason most general coaches avoid ADC coaching, because the ADC role has no agency, so it's really hard to teach ADC in a way that will directly lead to observable results.
