30 divided by 1/2 is basically 30 times 2 which is 60 + 10= 70

The one question you got wrong ( when it said divide 30 by half and add 10) The question is telling you to divide 30 by 1/2 which would be the same as multiplying it by 2 so 30•2=60 60+10=70

30 divided by half is basically 30x2 since you reciprocate the half while dividing...So, 30x2=60. And when you add 10, it become 70!

3. To get 70 it would be: If you multiply 30 by 2 and add 10 you get 70
