I remember playing zoro Perisa some time ago. Not only was the mission tree completely lackluster, but one of the final missions required you to be shia.
Hot take: playing wide or playing tall should be determined not by how much you conquer or dev but by where your admin points are going. If your admin is going to coring you are wide, if your admin is going to expanded infrastructure you are tall and there is nothing in between
@nikolaitregouet putting your excess mil and dip into dev because you dont have any use for them and you dont want to take tech ahead is not playing tall. If that can be considered playing tall then every single player campaign is both wide and tall
@@afridge8608 yeah, equally so expanding infrastructure is not playing tall, you do it to dev cheaper and/or for more manufactories. You wrote “hot take”, I dismantled it with like 16 words, yet you still protest. In any run you BOTH dev and conquer so there IS an in-between…
The thing that enforce culture in the peacedeal does is that it changes their cap province into persian and makes it their primairy culture. Its much easier to see in the culture group mapmode (not accepted culture map mode, the one you used), you see persian culture in other nations that way.
It does open up a new strat for one culture runs. You can create persian culture "islands" at remote places from which you can spread it with 25% neighbour discount.
Hey Zlewikk, waiting for the next part of your Ardabil campaign was worth it! If you don't let a day pass, the trade company provinces stay even if you state and unstate them to get absolutism, as long as it is a colonial core afterwards. The only thing that you loose is the trade company investments.
It's really funny to me just how much Fire Damage Recieved reduction you can get on Zoroastrian Persian cavalry. I think it tops out at -30% if you get the full bonus from breeding new warhorses, and that's before the extra reduction you get from drilling.
Hey! I got inspired by your run since last vid and started mine as well. Great fun in all but now that I've finished the mission tree I can say that: a) finisher mission is kinda weak imo b) is it a bug or do I not get something with the "empowering of persian influence ability by +100%"? It weakened instead of empowering in mine and it did in yours. Maybe not every button but certainly the middle one! All in all a super fun nation, ability etc. Ardabil and Mazandaran certainly get the best government reforms for forming Persia P.S. Check 19:47 for regular and 23:44 for "empowered"
Trying eranshar world conquest (zoroastrian) right now and learned alot from your videos.. i went up to 300% overextension to conquer whole india and ethiopia and turkish lands.. since the claims in india arent permanent is it ever a good idea to overextend like i did? Or is it not efficient. Also trying one faith but that looks really hard with only 4 missionaries
@@ZlewikkTV i survived it year was arround 1575 when i finished all overextension. Missionary strenght is harder than i thought atm going to war vs aragon to get the zaragozza monument then i be at 18%. The other thing is you can propagate religion but only in the land you dont own ;)
@@timtrio9862 you can also look for countries with missionary strength and vassalize them. Keep in mind that provinces in full states and right culture cost less to convert, so even using your own missionaries in your subject lands might be much more efficient vs your own territory with wrong culture

Absolutely gorgeous Persia gameplay, i'm so happy Persia, especially Zoroastrian Persia got a very nice update finally.

There is, the take is not hot, it’s brainless. You can do both at once

Zlewikk delivering as usual

That thumbnail killed me 😅
Shia Portugal. Now we’ve seen it all😄
yeah that finisher mission for improve relation seems quite weak for how hard it is to get.
Did you hear how AI trucebroke Florry in his persian run? xD
Yeah, I saw it
Waiting on that roman wc bro
Zlewikk is telling us something.
10:15 I think you clicked the 'Great Power' Break Alliance option instead of the favors one by accident here?
It used to happen a lot to me. Now I always double check if it says they won't agree 😅
I'm more surprised you didn't have the diplo annex a vassal achievement before this campaign.
I have, it's a known bug :)
Wide + tall = Wall’e haha
Nah, it's still Korea into EoC into Manchu into Qing
If you do both at the same time, is it then called playing thick?
is it ever worth it to reduce war exaustion? i mean , sure it's cheaper , but usually it's less than the 75 spent...
It's not only cheaper, but also faster to core + war ex reduces goods produced

1. with right setup and management, 300% is totally fine
2. There are plenty of monuments with miss strength, aim for those
