Wonderful video ❤❤ spinach and carrot are some of my fave tamagoyaki fillings, or if I have leftover chicken teriyaki I cut slices and add. When pushing dough into the tart pan, I use a bit of the leftover dough from the sides to push the dough into the corners of the pan, I find it’s softer than my finger😊

Hi, You asked for suggestions, so I wonder if you might be interested in seasoning the tamagoyaki like a few American omelet combinations? For example, a Denver omelet is made with chopped ham, cheddar cheese, bell peppers, and onion. For another combination you could do cooked spinach, feta, and tomato. My favorite is to brown (in butter) onions, bell peppers, mushrooms, roasted green chilies, and tomatoes together ahead of time (I make extra and it keeps in the fridge for a minimum of 5 days) , then add that and cheddar cheese into an omelet. Any combination that you like works, for example crispy bacon, chopped cooked shrimp, and a little cheese to hold it together. I haven't tried it, but I think a spoonful of smoked salmon mixed with cream cheese and a little chopped onion would be delicious as a filling, especially served with toasted or a bagel.
