    thank you! I was struggling to figure out how to back up my KeePass. This video made it all click. Also, the tip of how many PWs to memorize was golden.

    Thank you for the video. Is there any KeePass compatible mobile password manager on ios and android that is compatible with a keepass database that is protected by yubikey, like shown in your other video?

    Should I worry about typing my master pass into keepassxc in Windows, considering M$ keylogs everything anyway?

    You can export the Passwort to a CSV, printed out on a paper and store by your documents.

    Hey when saving your file in the cloud such as google drive do you need to resave it every time you update your passwords or will this be done automatically?

    • @securityguideme
      @securityguideme  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      If you sync Google Drive to your device, every time you update your passwords it will be first saved locally on your device, and second automatically uploaded to the cloud.

      @@securityguideme I downloaded the desktop app for google drive does that mean I have to mirror my account to my PC to make this work? I also have OneDrive do you have any opinion on which one is better?

      Sorry for the late reply, I did not see your response unfortunately.
      I think both are okay: Google Drive or OneDrive.
      Yeah, the easiest solution is to log in with your account at both devices.

    I use syncthing to sync the database file between my devices

      Great solution. You just need to make sure that the devices are up at the same time (from time to time).
      But this will probably happen for sync between Android and your PC.

    hello, it is very difficult to type the long master password every time we open the database. Any chance of unlocking the password with something like 4 digit pin for fast login?

    • @securityguideme
      @securityguideme  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Unfortunately, this will not really help you to protect your passwords well enough.
      What you could do is to use a Yubikey and use Challenge-Response authentication as single factor (see th-cam.com/video/o6Bk0HLPLzo/w-d-xo.html but explained in context of 2 factor authentication).
      Alternatively, you could use a Yubikey and set your password manager password as static password to autotype it.
