Have had Ruri for a while and she's an absolute beast against Red and relics enemies with her target relics. M.Ost and Mr. Puffington can't even move past her. However since she is so useful in Uncanny legends in relic stages and relies on her resistant ability, curse immunity is pretty much mandatory, otherwise she's pretty useless
Nice video, Matt! However, if you want Sea Maiden Ruri to be efficient against Relics, you still have to get her the Immune to Curse talent since Relic enemies can still curse her if you don't and make her Targets obsolete. By the way, she's basically the best anti-relic tank.
Ruri is a very useful unit that often gets slept on, she is a reliable anti-red tanker, and has great single target damage that can help turn the tide of a fight in your favor. Her Anti-relic trait is also very VERY good, It works well on a lot of stages, but to make it work, not only does she need the anti-relic target talent, she also needs the full curse immune to work at her best, but its well worth the NP investment.

Something I do before doing a UL stage is just use bullet train cat to hit the base and find out the enemies before 10 seconds re up. You can be more efficient by using a money up combo to put out bullet train as soon as possible. You can also use a speed up to look further into the level before 10 seconds are up. Although, there are some stages that arent upon base hit, but are on a timer. In that case, sometimes I just go in blind

I would love to see you getting the true form of Himeyuri Naintails, she's from the same banner as Sea-Queen Ruri and she can target Relic as well! I got her as my first uber, and just realized she can perma-slow Floating, Angels and Relics. Thx for the video, I really enjoyed it.

@@Tem07 let's forget I thought you were talking about ruri for a second there. ok so Akane tendo: she has, on average, ~6k dps. thats...ok for 400 range. the ld deffinitely helps, attack animation is fast, cooldown is short. debuff immunities are helpful, but 51k hp with 3kb isn't the best survivability, especially for a sniper with 400 range. compared to ganesha, she has the shorter cooldown, but less dps(9k vs 6k), one less kb(accounting for the one lost to strenthen), worse survivability because of a shorter backswing and higher speed, smaller aoe, and significantly worse stats when talents are accounted for. plus there's no garuntee she'll actually hit the 6k average, savage blow is entirely rng.

Similar to Mer-Queen if you true form earth king he has a target relic trait. I haven't tried him out due to the fact that I haven't gotten to uncanny yet so I don't know if he is good or not but he seems pretty powerful in certain situations. the one downside to sodom is that he is a big slow boi and he costs more than gao.
Can somebody tell to me if Mattshea has idi:re since it will be an extremely good counter to mr. puffington or just a good kamikaze unit against relic enemies (basically an a. bahamut but for relics only)
Hey Matt, you should try and use units like catman for the puffingtons as the high damage works well. Also, timing a rock cat for as soon as they are about to attack will stop the enemies from advancing after the attack
