Here's a wee challenge, what brave soul can guess the game case which is the "floor" of the thumbnail of this video? Wanted the games to appear in the picture too but it insisted on zooming in upon upload, ah well.🎮🖖🍀
Resident Evil?
@@RawDeal248 Ding Ding Ding! Absolutely nailed it good sir!✅️ Kudos on being a gaming legend.💪🎮👁☣️🍀
100k view 🎉like the idea on milestones, good old smyths,Twisted metal gerf & Metal Gerf solid, good memories 👌Crypt killer was a bit poor on Saturn but never played PlayStation version, never played a Pokemon but Pokedsomemoms 😜
Just something a bit different to mark the milestones if/when they come, thanks buddy good memories, TM & MGS were brilliant! Ah Crypt Killer was definitely the worst title I named here but felt it worth a mention simply because it stuck in my mind for some reason, probably all the mad flashing when shooting.⚡️🧠 Haha eloquently put boyo.😂🍀
I so remember seing the dinosaur demo the demo disc was excellent buddy and still love destruction derby and wipeout. These consoles made gaming in 3D amazing with dodgy camera angles but hated croc the game. Great memories mate have a great night 🙂👍
Lots of fond early 3D pixelated memories indeed Glen! And Croc was a bit rough around the platforming edges haha! But similar to Crypt Killer not an amazing title but somehow got stuck in my head back then.🎮🌅🍀
It’s like you are talking about my PS1 one history. Couch co-ops were great! I lived in the Create a Wrestler mode in old wrestlings games. I watched wrestling here and there but, the games is what I loved.
Nice memories undeed, still the days when multiplayer action required everyone in the same room🤝. Very much agree I'd loads more fun on the games than any actual shows or events we ventured to.💪🎮🍀
@@Pjvenom1985 sleepovers in the 90’s were the best sleep over, pizza, whatever console your friend had, playing games until you couldn’t stay up anymore, don’t forget the soda!
Congratulations on the milestone my brother! One of the coolest guys that I've met in this community 💪🏾💪🏾
Thanks and kind of you to say as always, the feeling is very much mutual buddy! Have a great weekend brother!🖖🌅🍀
Congratulations PJ On hitting a 100K Views, You've also gone over 300 subs now, So well done mate, The OG Playstation Was a game changer for me mate And I had had completely forgotten about that T. Rex demo But now the memories are flooding back ha ha , Thanks for sharing your memories Of these 2 fantastic consoles with us Boyo And have a wonderful weekend mate
Ah go raibh mile maith agat Marc buddy!🎮 Aye Murphys Law that the subs would go up out of nowhere haha shall have to whip up another one of these soon to stay true to my word.😅 Glad you had some nice nostalgic pixelated flashbacks boyo, stay safe legend!💫🖖🍀
I didn't get a playstation right away. I got the sega Saturn instead.
My buddy over the road had the playstation upon release though. I remember playing it most nights hanging there. It was a quality console.
Solid team strategy so you had the best of both worlds!🎮 💫 Seemed here it was PS1s all over the place, I missed out on the Saturn entirely unfortunately. Thanks for watching boyo.🌠🍀
My sister got the PS1 and I got the N64 . That was a great time !!!
A super sibling strategy buddy! Well if you both were the sharing kind anyway haha!🕹🙌🎮🍀
Congrats on the milestone, I'm sure there will be many more.
Lightning bolts shooting out of your chest in Tenchu! I had no idea of that cheat! It's nice to know I can still be surprised 😉
Ah thanks GP, sound as always!😎 Debug mode was absolutely mad buddy big long input code then you could turn into enemies or animals shoot lightning bolts or arrows out of you chest...all sorts of chaos haha, glad I accidentally managed to surprise you on this classic.🎮🌅⛩️🍀
Congrats pal on both the 300 subs and 100k that is fantastic!
Ah thanks buddy appreciate it, aye really wasn't expecting the wee sub count to go up that swift since recording, will have to whip another one of this type soonish to stay true to my word haha. Stay safe & have a great weekend man.🌠🖖🍀
Smyths toys.
I remember that. I wonder if they're still in business.🤔
They are definitely still kicking here in Ireland man but not sure if they would still have a gaming section anymore.👍🍀
@@Pjvenom1985 I heard that toys R us has closed.
@@TheRetroManRandySavage I remember them aye, haven't seen any in quite a while here now that you mention it buddy. Pity.💫🖖🍀
Congratulations on the milestone! Also those are some great memories with some great games! I loved importing my Pokémon into stadium 😊
Thanks a lot Bunday! Ah seeing my 6 level 100 Pokemon team(Blastoise/Sandslash/Magmar/Zapdos/Gyaradose/Snorlax) on the big screen in 3D was amazing back then haha. Glad you have those memories too good sir!💫🖖🍀
Hey new to your channel and congrats on reaching 100k channel views and yes Twisted Metal is such an awesome game!!
Thanking you good sir, agreed I've lots of fond memories of the Twisted Metal series, especially World Tour.🤡🔥🌍🍀
I got my PS1 for Christmas '96 with -
Worms
Doom
Zero divide
V rally
Tekken 2
Fifa 97
Such an amazing library of games. Tenchu is definitely one I'd like to see comeback.
Congrats again buddy🎉
Ah I genuinely would love to see Tenchu have a solid return buddy!⛩️ Thanks a lot man nice titles there, I remember V Rally being a rare realisic racing game I'd good fun with, there was codes to unlock some mad extra courses too.🌠🚘🍀
I love these history videos and the nostalgia vibes. Congrats.
The PS1 was a game changer back in the day (pun intended) and I was one of the first lucky kids on the block the year of its release to get one for Xmas.
XCOM, demolition derby, Twisted Metal, resident evil, Darkstalkers. Those were the first games I had on the PS1.
The first RE was pretty scary back in the day as a kid, That first zombie you come across in the house will always be etched in my memory, as I’m sure with many other kids.
I remember as a kid I had to make my own active cooling system which consisted of making a fan casing out of cardboard and using a battery powered fan from a toy to force air through the ps1 Because we as kids were playing xcom with a memory card because although our parents got us the console for Christmas, we couldn’t afford to get the memory cards so we had to leave the system on 24/7 To play through XCOM Because we could not save. You have to remember back then memory cards, where a relatively new concept.
As for the N64 tons of sleep over 007 golden eye multiplayer
And as you mentioned the wrestling was big back than. One of my friends we mastered and maintained on of the more popular ECW fan pages.
Thanks buddy I really enjoy hearing people's relaxing gaming memories an experiences as well. I'll be scrambling to make another quick one soon, ah yes the age of the memory card was upon us! That first Zombie in the Spencer Mansion munching on poor Kenneth J Sulivan is definitely iconic!☣️ Thanks for sharing some of your fond pixelated memories here man.🌠🖖🎮🍀
Some great memories here PJ. I loved worms armageddon, still got all our old saved teams and stuff on my N64 cart from the early 00's. One of the few games you can lose and still laugh about 😂
Wwf no mercy is regarded by most wrestling fans as the best wrestling game ever made and i'm one of them. By the way if your cart didnt save, there were a few dodgy carts when the game was first released. I remember my mate got a copy before the official release date and his was one of the dodgy carts.
Oh yes some Worms battles could be absolutely hilarious buddy and making personalised teams was a must for me an pals way back when too!🪱 No Mercy was very impressive indeed💪 an I might of had a dodgey cart as I recall eventually getting miffed that things weren't saving etc. Thanks for listening an engaging as always!🌠🎮🍀
Congrats on 100k views!! 🎉
Thanks a lot buddy congratulations on your 900 sub milestone and of course very best of luck on the TH-camr of the year campaign, exciting times indeed.🎮🙌🍀
Nice trip in the way back machine... My memories and experiences were so very similar to yours. I had PlayStation and dozens of games and twice as many demo discs, and my friends all had N64 and the same 3 games! 😂
Ah thanks Jon it seems quite a lot of gaming folk have certain bullet point memories of games/console moments regardless of where they may be located on this pale blue dot we all call home.🎮🌍🍀
Mario 64, Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time, and Mario Kart 64 and/or Goldeneye 007 😅😂
@@robertharper3114 oh man, good guesses! All my friends had Mario Kart 64, NFL BLITZ, and GoldenEye. 😂
@@retroprojections Almost everybody had the same N64 games, regardless of region! Lol
@@robertharper3114 I missed out on a few well thought of heavy hitters indeed.🌠🕹🍀
I dont know how i missed this 😢😢 however glad i am watching now you know me always love to hear peoples story/history
Really was a great listen to hear you mate
Ah yes the first tekken, a start of something special most playstation players played a lot of tekken
Crash nitro racing is awsome as well and twisted metal is such an iconic game as well mate 😊😊
The battle modes are always fun, i used to play battlemode alot on mario kart 64 great fun 😊😊
I grew up liking wrestling, so i owned a few wrestling games, and we would create wrestlers as well in our own persona or friends persona in some cases we even mate people we didnt like 😅😅😅
Really enjoyed this off topic you have a very good podcast voice 😊😊
Stay safe legend 🍀🍀😊😊
P.s i got a goood laugh when you said i dont know how this console manifested in our household for the n64....for some reason i was like did a ghost bring it to you mate haha
Once again great video😊😊🍀🍀
What a substantial comment thanks buddy very kind of you appreciate it as always!💚 I'm sure you'd have a fascinating few stories gaming wise that I'd enjoy listening to plus you're far more naturally humorous I could never pull that off! Haha yes I still have no idea how that N64 manifested here back then, perhaps a gift from King Boo!👻🕹💫 Go raibh mile maith agat good sir Raza!🌠🖖🍀
Congrats on the milestone mate - my girlfriend and I shared the playstation - we both lived with our parents at the time, so we bought a carry case and moved it around 😂 Strong foundations , we're still together today (tho not at our parents anymore 😅)
Thanks buddy ah that's class pal great to hear of solid gaming couple team efforts. And glad you're both going strong today!💪🎮🍀
Well done on your
Milestone - great to hear about the n64 stuff - can’t see that game case doh
Go raibh mile maith agat Gull! Ah yes the thumbnail zoomed in more than expected unfortunately haha, it's the back of the Original Resident Evil title.👁☣️🍀
Congratulations on 100k
Ah thanks buddy nice one as always.💪🏆🍀
Great video man 😊
Thanking you man.🌠🎮🍀
So many fantastic games were released on the PS1. I figured that you would probably mention Resident Evil. It’s kind of hard to mention the console and not mention RE. Congratulations on the milestone!
You know me man, any excuse to mention some Resident Evil shenanigans and I'll take it! Thanks very much.🎮🖖🍀
@@Pjvenom1985 When I think of the PS1 era, I’m always reminded of Crash Bandicoot, Castlevania Symphony of the Night and Resident Evil (of course). Did you ever play any of the lesser known horror games like Koudelka or Overblood?
@@playmooregames371 Oh I played pretty much everything Crash Bandicoot wise back on the PS1 always a fun time, never played Castlevania or the two horror titles though unfortunately. Resident Evil 123 & Silent Hill is all that springs to mind on that front, were the horror titles good?👁🎮🍀
@@Pjvenom1985 Overblood was similar to RE but with a sci-fi atmosphere. It has cheesy voice acting and mediocre graphics but you may like it.
Kouldelka is a horror RPG. It’s been years since I played it but it was decent.
@@playmooregames371 Both sound interesting thanks for the heads up good sir! I recall a time when I got sucked into PC gaming(mostly World of Warcraft) an a certain Sci-fi survival horror called Dead Space on PS3 pulled me back to the genre an indeed back to console gaming soon after.🌠🎮🍀
