    Watched part 1 and was amazed by the water. Watching part 2 there at the end where you released that trout and the clarity of that water is magical. 😊

      Last time we went miles into remote gorges. Proper adventure and a lot of scrambling down huge valleys. Found some great grayling

    Again the conditions gave the fishing an extra twist just make it even more of a challenge. A thunder storm while in a mountain valley has to be one of natures perfect surround sound moments. A major safety concern would be how high is the risk of a sudden spate surge of water? The rapid hit from a foot plus of extra water. Can turn interesting into darn dangerous pretty quickly. Back in the nineties while fishing the upper Tyne. A pollution spill from the toilet roll factory at Prudoe needed a fast flush from Kielder to clear it to help avoid a major fish kill. I heard the rush of water. Rushed to the bank too late it took my feet out from under me. Lucky for me I had a life jacket that inflated. Almost a mile before I managed to get to the bank and a long soggy walk back to the car. With a wreaked set of waders lucky only the waders and not my leg slashed open.

    Hi, love the video what a beautiful place. I don't want to ask you for the exact amount it cost for this trip but how much roughly would a weeks fishing cost there.

    Are there rivers/waters in Slovenia where fishing with spinners/spoons is allowed? I have yet to learn how to fish with fly rods:)

    It's funny how many of those fish are stocked trout 😂😂😂. what's the point? 90 euros per day 🤣. One reason local Slovenias can't afford to fish there.. All for rich foreigners who don't know the fish are stocked 😂😂😂

    • @lindsayiflyfish
      @lindsayiflyfish  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I think most anglers know the fish are stocked. It’s not a big secret. I think it is expensive for sure but it is still a lot less expensive than fishing the Test or the the other chalk streams where I live. I wish I could say I was rich but that’s not the case. I like everything about Slovenia could the fishing be a little more affordable yes. Will it stop me returning, no.
