I've been high on him since January. I seen they were going to get rid of Mixon and wasn't worried when they brought Moss in. I've probably amassed the largest Chase Brown rookie card collection in the country in expectation of him having a monster season. Can unload some for a good profit and keep a few for PC.
I have AR and Caleb Williams as my QBs and made the following trades with 3 different owners in my league (1QB 12 Team Standard): 2025 2nd for Chris Godwin, Josh Downs and a 2025 3rd Roman Wilson and a 2025 3rd for Josh Palmer and a 2025 2nd Josh Palmer and Chris Godwin for DJ Moore The 2nds will be within a few picks of each other either way so effective Net result: Roman Wilson for Josh Downs + DJ Moore. Wheelin' and Dealin' baby! 🤑😎
The difference between AD and Pierce is the fluidity in route running and the ability to decelerate and accelerate. Ppl take the talent. He can play X, Y, and Z. Contested catches, ball tracking, speed, clutch catches, elite route tree at Texas. Trust.
The fields value is completely understandable. If you drafted him anytime before this year, you are likely unwilling to part with him unless you get decent compensation back, but when he’s playing, he’s also nearly a QB1 on a points per game basis because of the rushing upside. Just that alone retains his value to some degree. Look at what happened with quarterbacks last year. More injuries than arguably ever. Then you add in the equally noncommittal contract to Russell Wilson, and how it is very easy to see a path where fields gets meaningful reps at any point during the season if Wilson is not performing well or injured. Do I think he should be valued adjacent to cousins? No. But the current market value is not unjustifiable by any means. And what the Steelers gave up to get fields seems like not a lot. However, it’s a conditional pick based on how much field plays for starters and the rest of the league didn’t trade for fields, because they unequivocally knew the Bears were moving off of him because they were drafting Williams. So the Bears had no leverage to work a trade in any other capacity. It was not a reflection of the rest of the league lacking interest. It was the rest of the league, knowing that they could lowball the Bears if they wanted to bolster their QB room and the Steelers were just the most desperate team. The fields hate goes a little too far, especially given the rushing upside he provides as a Fantasy asset. As a real nfl QB, he’s wildly mediocre but we don’t play real football. We play fake football.
@@thedynastydomain and? You guys literally make 20 minute videos about various topics that are often times pretty good. Isn’t this supposed to be a forum for discussion on the nuance of dynasty?
I will say this - I do not think the Fields value is understandable or warranted. I do agree we play fake football but he’s not a starter and won’t be a starter in the NFL long term.
@@thedynastydomain That's fair, but there's also the scenario (maybe 10-15% odds) that he's a starter this season at the end of this season heading into fantasy playoffs and is very valuable for competing teams in SF formats. Even on a dynasty roster. And it would be pretty on par for the same community that overreacts in general to everything to immediately be back on the Fields bandwagon again after a couple of solid weeks. At which point he could be sold at a relative premium to those same overreacting managers in your league(s).
Didn't Johnston literally get usurped by DJ Chark already? There's beat reporters saying DJ Chark has looked great so he's been lining up where QJ was the day prior. Ok so I’m like ALL IN on diontae Johnson! What do you think about trading Hollywood brown for diontae? It’s the one league I don’t have him in. Or should I try and trade a pick for him instead.

I'd still trade any one of those but Marvin for, say, DK Metcalf.
As Colts fans, how high are you guys on Michael Pittman Jr? Above or below DK Metcalf? Would you trade him for a 2024 late first? I'm not convinced AR knows how to throw short/intermediate well, a little concerned about the TD upside on a JT/AR RZ offense, along with the target competition from Downs, AD, and Pierce. Obviously, with Minshew, MPJ was a stud before the bad concussion and other injuries down the stretch, but I'm less convinced with AR at QB. Been struggling with assessing his value -- I know the charts everywhere have him over Pickens, but unless Pittsburgh trades for Aiyuk or something, I am all in on Pickens being AJ Brown next year. Russ' play action aptitude + a probable league-best OL + a bludgeoning Najee x Warren attack + no competition + Pickens' contested catch ability has me forecasting 150-180 targets, many of them high-value.
