To avoid breaking, make sure you apply oil as shown. ALSO, all cement structures need to be cured in water, otherwise they will loose almost 70% of their strength. Wait 10-12 hrs then cure the pot by sprinkling or filling with water for 7-28days. If you can, soak in water. (After the 3rd day, the pot can be removed from mold and used, but curing must continue). Cement does not strengthen by drying, it strengthens because of the chemical reaction between water and the cement mixture.
I love your work I'm making or trying to make garden cement balls have my first 2 drying 🤞🤞I used just the mixed cement and siphoned the rocks out I like your method better but was told the river sand too porous I think they said I got a whole tub of river sand.
