The mounted police did a great job, especially the mounted rider who quietly and expertly manoeuvred their horse to contain the loose horse against the barrier.
All did well to get the loose horse caught. Let the horsemen do their thing and though the urge by others is to rush in to help the horse might feel threatened more. The horse's buddies stopped, which reassured the loose horse he wasn't left behind. This was so helpful.
Girth was loose which caused the saddle to slope to one side which then made it painful for the horse so the horse threw the rider off. You have to be sitting on the horse perfectly even just slightly out of position can make it very uncomfortable for the horse
That horse belongs to the King's Royal Household Cavalry. The common person should not approach or try to capture it. I would be sorely tempted however.
@@cynthiabruce8082 it’s the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment, they wouldn’t care who caught it if it saves a long walk or the horse getting on the road. ‘Common person?!’ Who do you think makes up the majority of the troopers?!
@@7daylover that horse was not freaking out, it was literally lose and not sure what to do about it. You can see this by how simply the horse just stopped as soon as the person towards the end of the video grabbed the reigns. Yeah, I guess so many people are so detached from animals and nature that they don’t even realize that these moments right here in this video are the stages before the animal really starts to panic when something can easily and safely be done.

Great work by the police horse and rider. Girth loose caused saddle to slip happens to us all.

The rider must be so worried his horse will end up hurt.

The spectators would probably get in trouble or yelled at since they aren’t police or cavalry , @Lillyofthevalley222🙄
