I told my daughter that when I expressed my anguish and sorrow that no one would want to associate with me. Ironically expressing this to my daughter is my learning and hers and our medicine. Children see through the masks we wear in society to keep each other “safe” from seeing each other as we are, The masks are slipping, it’s time to be real with no concern of the con sequences in speaking from the heart. Not lost faith in education, but as we see everyday, the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. Education seems to have little to do with anything. This is true in India's cast system, and it's true in America's "free" system. We can each experience our own Nature without education, without cultural norms and without a society to give us a list of stupid rules to follow, all of which support the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer. I always thought that spirituality was something that was free of the needs of society.
I'm not sure what it's like in India, but it doesn't really address why the youth are losing faith in education for the west. Everything is collapsing in the west. Everyone talks about it now and everyone is blaming another group. Financially, economically, spiritually, socially, familial, marital, everything is degrading and disintegrating at an accelerated rate. Every generation is doing worse than the last and there is a growing distance between older and younger generations. The older and younger generations have disdain for each other. The older thinks the young are entitled and pathetic and the younger generations think the older generations are squandering their inheritance, ruining the economy and environment. The roots of these problems go very deep.
