Not that obscure though. There were and still are Jewish people living in coastal south India. Especially in Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra. They've been here since roman times. Although a large portion of them migrated to Israel after it's formation there still exists Jewish communities in India who have preserved their distinct language and sect.
Mate, a majority of Paradox players wouldn't know that Khazaria was Jewish without CK, you think they'd know about a small Jewish community in south western India?
CK3 players spending 6 hours colonizing half of Britain while turning their family tree into a family Christmas Wreath so that they can own Kingdom Shittenfart and earn 0.2 more prestige
Colonizing ? Nah got ck3 players confused with Victoria players 😂 we just take the land we don't colonize we convert those brits to the true faith and real men (vikings) 😂
The weirdest nation I’ve ever seen was an ai crusade conquering the kingdom of zaporizhia and granting it to an Anglo Saxon character. Allegedly some Anglo-saxons fleeing the Normans had a short lived colony near Crimea, devs thought it would be funny for kingdom of zaporizhia controlled by and Anglo-Saxon to be the kingdom of New England
The duchy of Chera Nadu is the state of Kerala which has the oldest synagogue outside of Israel. Due to the spice trade many Jews settled here. Thomas the apostle also came to Kerala to proselytize specifically because of this. As for rule, Joseph Rabban was once given the charter to rule Kochi by the Cheras at one point before they were defeated by the Cholas
Thank you. You answered what I was wondering. I thought I had heard of a Jewish population living in India when I was a kid and my teacher at the time was technically kinda of from India since his mom left while pregnant. Edit- currently playing CK 3 and started in Chera Nadu.
i only knew this existed because someone on a india multiplayer game i was part of formed it and then gave me the head of faith title in exchange becoming their vassal
There were jewish prince's in Southern India. Well, one line of them. Merchants were able to bassicly buy There way to nobility but one dude in the 14th century ruined all of thar after he started a civil conflict with his brother.
How about Naples or Trincaria (I think that’s what it’s called)? You need to take the decision ‘Empower the Sicilian Parliament’ and then select the option that splits Sicily in two (If it doesn’t automatically do it)
I've formed these guys and I haven't formed many nations, but I've been interested in these sorts of kingdoms ever since I noticed Jewish Ethiopia back in CK2.
Indian Chile isn’t real it can’t hurt you
