This video was filmed in a very small village in Romania, where time seems to have stopped . We managed to discover the village and the villagers who are friendly people always greeting us from their gardens. A road starts in the village that doesn't seem to lead anywhere. There's not a lot of visibility, so you'd say there's nothing further, that it's just a road that leads nowhere. But if you advance on the narrow and winding road, you begin to easily-easily see the outline of the village. It's a quiet place, so quiet that the only thing you hear are your steps as you move forward on the road and the birds. It's a pretty old village, some young people have gone to the nearest cities, others have gone abroad to make money, and plan to return to the country, to restore up the old houses in the village. But until then, village life remains unchanged, authentic and exceedingly beautiful.

My Saxon-German ancestors came from Transylvania or Siebenburgen. It's absolutely beautiful and I can see why they choose Ohio, because it reminded them of home!

I'm from Transylvania and I have alot of relatives in Ohio, who left Romania probably 80-90 years ago. They have one of the most popular romanian family name, but no one speak romanian. 😊

It's a fantastic country and you are right they work really hard. Unfortunately there aren't many jobs and young Romanians are forced to leave their beautiful country to find work. Unfortunately many of them never return. They need tourism.

Pavele, nu mai fi asa batut in cap, cine mananca din rodul pamantului romanesc devine mai roman decat multi. Stainii care s-au mutat in Romania o iubesc mai mult decat multi. Copii lor vorbesc romaneste mai bine ca tine. Milioane de romani plecati nu se vor mai intoarce poate niciodata. Deci Romania tot aici ramane, nu-ti fie teama!!!!

Nu este nici un secret ca f.multi din Occident ne urasc si ne socot o tara de mana 3 -a.De ce?Pentru ca multe tv-ziuni si jurnale arata numa tot ce este rau si urat.
Pentru ca le este frica ca le luam locul de munca din tara lor.
Pentru ca suntem mai inteligenti ca ei si pentru faptul ca il iubim pe Dumnezeu.Ei sunt prosti(nu toti),nu au cultura si se mandresc ca sunt atei.

Romania este pe cale de disparitie ca stat, ca tara! Exact cum a fost cu fosta Iugoslavie! Nu m-am referit la cei care vin in Romania si vor sa traiasca liberi si frumos, fiindca foarte multi mi-au zis ca le place traiul si le plac oamenii din Romania! Dar nu vreau ca tara mea sa fie impartita mafiotilor, iar eu, cand voi avea nevoie sa merg dintr-o parte a tarii in alta la rudele mele, sa trebuiasca sa scot viza sau sa am pasaport! I have a bunch of photos from my visit to Rashinar village, half hour out of Sibiu, Romania. The oxen here are just like the ones there but there is a small boy running them. He had stopped at the town well & trough so they could drink. Very sweet. Lovely video.

Imi aduce aminte de copilaria mea, l.am depasit de doua ori pe Creanga in boacane traind la tara pe malul Ialomitei, dar cand ma duceam la bunici ramaneam surprins de mult mai multe lucruri, de exemplu dormeam in fanar pe fan sub miros de mohor sau lucerna uscata, la 4-4,5 incepeau cocosi sa cante, iar magari incepeau sa dea ora exacta cam pe la 5, zilnic mancam mamaliga iar sambata era zi de facut paine sub țãst asezata pe frunza de vita de vie, pe la 11 ziua plecam la scaldat pe garla si mai veneam seara lihniti de foame si fugariti de oameni ca dadeam cu pietre in orce pom ce avea poame si uneori pietrele mai ajungeau si pe fierul casei sau prin vrun geam🤦♂️.....momentan traiesc prin UK dar fac aceleasi boacane ca si mai inainte si mananc la fel de sanatos, import pana si coada soricelului din Romania, fac paine la cuptor saptamanal si trosnesc cu biciul mai peste tot..... imi place luxul doar pt cateva ore si rusticul pt todeauna....
