I highly recommend checking out their podcast, Trax, on your own time. Each episode they go into insane detail about a particular song from their catalog, and they have one for Buried Alive. Learning about what was going on in their lives when making this made me appreciate it even more than I had for years of loving this song.

yea it sucks that the solo/dueling solos weren't clear enough to hear. if you listen to the studio version, it's incredible. i don't know of any other band that can play a song live and it sounds almost identical to the studio version.
