thank you very much for the demo, you explain it well, thank you for sharing. It's a bit difficult when I have to weave the pattern backwards, because then I have to flip the bordertablets and then weave them foreward, because the weft shows if I weave the border tablet backwards.
You make really good videoes. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I'm a beginner and there is a lot of, more or less, good videos out there. This is good quality i think ❤
Do you mean, How to not see the weft in the middle of the weave? unfortunately, if you watch at th-cam.com/video/uPxNp2AB0Cc/w-d-xo.html you can see that there really isn't a way to not see the weft. That is just a feature of tablet weaving. But if you can match the weft to these points and not the border then it disappears in to the weave.
Thank you! The loom is an Accordion from Windhaven Fiber Arts and Tools on Etsy. But due to some deaths in the family (not covid related) they are not taking new orders at the moment. But if you follow this lovely Mother\Daughters shop on Facebook they will let you know when they will reopen. I love this double sided loom and it's well worth the wait.
@@KnowKnots THANK YOU for answering so quickly. I found them on etsy yesterday and they will be coming back in a week or 2. Super excited. You do make great comprehensive videos and will be patiently awaiting for more 😃😃😃😃😃
What kind of loom are you using here? I would like to start weaving in general and I am looking for the most versatile loom for my needs. Is it possible to use the technique to untwist the threads which you demonstrated in another video using fishing swivels here too?
For this video I am using a Windhaven Accordion. It has become my favorite loom as it lets me do a traditional inkle style set up, a warp weighted set up, or just tie off the ends and do a comb out for twist (I actually never do the last as I hate it, but its still an option) I admit that I don't like doing the swivels with this loom. The bars are very close together and it makes pushing the twist to the swivels much more difficult. So I tend to to twist neutral or weights with this loom.

You just totally saved my butt. THANK YOU!
Thanks for this demo! I was struggling to figure out how to make neater looking edges, without having to use the same yarns for the weave!
Perfect!
This is just what I was looking for on my edges! Thank you for sharing your knowledge!
Glad this was helpful! I use this these tips on every band.
That is Fantastic ! Thank you so much for making these videos and sharing. Much appreciated.
You're welcome!

I'm glad you found my videos helpful and enjoyed them!
Love this video. Will use this technique on my next band
This is Janet. How are you doing? You have the best information that I have found on GTT so far. Hope all is well and you make more videos.
Perfect!!! Thank you for showing this technique!
Glad you like it! Happy Weaving!
Thank you for the suggestions and explanations. Your videos are very helpful.
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoy them!
Great idea. I would refer to the thread as the bottom forward not back. Back is usually towards the weaver.
How cool is that?! Thank you! I now just hope I remember!
I see that you made your own cards. What is its actual size of it? As I see you used formica-(laminate). Looks good!
Thank you for sharing your knowledge about border. How to make the weft didn't see at the weave?

BEAUTIFUL
CAN I ASK WHERE TO GET THAT LOOM, PLEASE

Very useful!
thanks!!!
You're welcome!
Love your loom what it call
Hi, this loom is a Windhaven Accordion. You can find them on Etsy. There is always a long wait for their looms but they are worth it!
Is this pattern in your other vids?
No, this pattern was only used on this image. I have included the link to the pattern in the description.
I know this is 3 years old now but the pattern link no longer works.
says it can't open because it contains errors.
The author is no longer maintaining their website so unfortunately the link is broken
that's a shame. hope someone can track down (or recreate) the draft.
