Honestly in response to the master duel segment about it not being like the TCG, I understand your point. But in the Legacy of the duelist games, you can just hold the B/O button on a controller, and it doesn’t stop the game to ask the player to activate a card. And then you just let it go when you want to activate. I mean hey it’s not perfect but I think it’s good enough

Talking about YuGiOh's problems, I think the main issue is there's too many OP cards. Sure having a ton of great cards and decks can make the game explosive and poggers, but that can also make the game boring, or frustrating, because people will only use the best decks. When I play Duel Links ranked I rarely see people using non meta decks. It's always Resonators, Harpie Ladies, or Onomats. My opinion might be wrong, but Imma say it anyway.
This decks should not have this kind of consistency they should not be good turn 1 and you cant do anything because they can sidedecks stall cards too without a cost
No, it's not the OP cards it's card and effect design itself. Modern yugioh cards practically have zero costs or potential risks to use. The skillful part nowadays shifted from choosing where to take risks to get some advantage to how to more effectively use the massive raw advantage your card already give you. That's where 10 negate boards and 20 min combos come from. Honestly, yugioh design is just a mess on so many levels.
I just got Primo and I was wondering what are some optimal Meklord decks I love playing with Desperado and Meklord Wisel but what are some good cards that work well with those cards also I love Orgoth but is he not optimal at I haven't seen any decks for him since that event came out a while ago and even then it wasn't much
Despa stuff has used Blast Spider, Machina Fortress, Super Team Buddy Force, AoJ Quarantine. Maybe try Bad Aim, Rai Break, Head Judging if ya want to. On Primo you don’t have Coin skill, but after the nerf he may be the way to go with Despa.
I'm not against the ban list tbh it just feels like DM is incomplete now. At least put some XYZ DM cards to compensate. Blue Eyes got Synchro so why DM can't have one. The banlist is ok. Just need more options to replace the limited cards. Because right now the deck is really inconsistent. You got to pray to have a good opening hand to start a combo.
So apparently yugioh is the only card game without omni negates, or cards that bounce your opponents turn one or banish cards turn one or destroy cards turn one therefore making it super interactive. 🤔 this seems like a false statement somehow. (Proceeds to play harpies and T.G. with Cryston lmao!

Si prestaste atencion al video claramente el explica que la proteccion es a efectos que seleccionen. Efectos que no seleccionan como el del black rose, el del levionero al desterrar luz y oscuridad, entre otros afectan porque en su texto no dice que seleccionen cartas del oponente.
about the format talk, honestly magic figured out the best format, and that is the last 15 or so years of modern. it's fast but not as yu gi oh fast and still not tedious as a standard game. you seldomly see ramping in modern, what do you see is control decks, and control decks don't actually accumulate resources like a ramping deck, their goal is to take away yours and leave you either defenseless or out of win conditions to accurately take you down. to put it in boxing terms a good technical boxer that fights the first rounds to fatigue his opponent by disrupting his pace and poking untill there's a good opening to take him down

No idea what you’re talking about with high cost cards causing games to stall. Runeterra meta is faster than it’s ever been. Control style play where you aim for the late game requires much more of a higher skill cap than face racing aggro style gameplay in my opinion. I’d understand your opinion playing a literal speed duel game for your main income and Yugioh in general that’s focused on playing your entire deck within 2 turns….but what you consider “stalling the game is not fun and that’s what Runeterra learned the hard way” is definitely not as common or as drastic you claim it to be. It’s a misleading statement to say the least.
I think you are wrong, let me try to explain why First I will say I played runtera only a little bit so my knowledge is very minimal but I can talk about hearthstone yugioh and little magic I think No one said control decks dont require skill, they do, but often other side doesnt get to show their skill as opponent will just try to disrupt your play and delay the game So often when control does what its supposed to do other side just feels like deck is stopping them from playing the game. I get the fun of playing the cool and favorite cards, but in games like Duel Links where it’s all spam your cards and play quick games the fun stops there, at least for me. Room for strategy, counter play and comeback mechanics is much more limited in comparison to other tcgs. For me, I personally enjoy games that play out longer and require more time to think things through.

Its easier to get into the game playing something familiar rather than foreign concepts. Just wait till new dm support comes out, thats what i tell myself. I dont regret it, i knew what dm had become before i started buying it.
Well, the thing is that DM lasted a complete year in the tier list! That became annoying. Trust me, now is relatively... nice. Even old (I mean 2018) meta decks are appearing and even competing with some tier list decks. I still remember the nightmare of DM, Shiranui and Invoker decks...

Resonator deck is easy to get I playing the free to play version right now the consistency of this deck is amazing

YGO players often call a card an Omni-Negate if it can negate a Monster,Spell,or Trap effect.

Its easier to get into the game playing something familiar rather than foreign concepts. Just wait till new dm support comes out, thats what i tell myself. I dont regret it, i knew what dm had become before i started buying it.
Well, the thing is that DM lasted a complete year in the tier list! That became annoying. Trust me, now is relatively... nice. Even old (I mean 2018) meta decks are appearing and even competing with some tier list decks. I still remember the nightmare of DM, Shiranui and Invoker decks...

You know exactly that's not going to happen unless you spend money. F2p players are still going to complain. Even if everyone had an equal footing there will always have people who will just play better.

Soo yeah about the mana ramp comment of its just boring ... So is control decks .. Trn 1 thought seize you're hand write down the names of all cards b4 I choose the one to discard .. Pass to stall /kill all the coming monsters for 5-8 turns is not interactive its playing solitair ... Agro also isn't verry interactive make tons of little things that add up too big number ... Play thing turn it side ways ... Combo is usually a control deck with a otk ... I mean its all the same . tempo decks on the other hand are hybrids can be fast paced but also can slow the game state to a crawl ... Some even come with otk combos in them *Kiki jiki resto Angel.. Cough
