Karen, I love how happy you were to see the floor area by your basement door completely cleared and all of the trash taken out from the house to your car. It looks so tidy and spacious over there now. Proud of you for getting more photos done, you are nearly there now. I think one more dedicated session and that project will be finished. I know how thrilled you’ll be to have that mini project done and be able to move onto clearing another set of shelves and decluttering another layer of the onion elsewhere. Well done on keeping so motivated and for looking after the basement space as much as you do in other parts of your house. I think that will inspire so many of your viewers to do the same with their basements, cellars or garages.

It may sound silly but I recently got a pedometer to wear and wow it is so rewarding to see how many steps I have taken during a day. 😊Since I work at home I can tend to be sedentary but now with the pedometer it motivates me even more to declutter and organize in the middle of other things! I know the iphone can track steps but I don't wanna carry it on me all day long.
Good work, Karen! I like it when we can look at what we got done and feel that sense of accomplishment.

I wonder if you could get some of those hooks to hang on wall by outside stuff and hang shovels, etc tools that can hang? Just a thought! Enjoy being in yard. I did about 30 minutes cutting down overgrown bushes. A little along goes a long way...progress! I weedeated some too.!😊❤
Oh yeah. I was also thinking how hooks on the wall could keep things up and out of the way. 😊

Moving the shelf was a great idea, creating a “Time will tell” area for your stuff. I have a two story home too and when I go up and down the 12 steps of stairs, I tell myself, if it were not for these stairs, I would not get any exercise, Lol ❤❤❤

Good advice, and this is a big job. I actually have to use a journal called Throw It Away by Guru Notebooks because I get too overwhelmed and attached to stuff.
I think it would really be good if you hung a bunch of the rakes, shovels etc. on the wall.❤️

I started selling some stuff if you're not getting responses it's because your pricing is too high you have to let it go really low don't even take into consideration what you paid for it just let it go for a low price and that way they haul it away for you you don't have to bring to the donation center you don't have to put it in the trash or recycle they're doing you a favor they're giving you a little something 5,10,20 dollars and they're hauling it away for you

Great job! Just out of curiosity, why don't you pull your vehicle around to your basement outside door and load up your stuff from there rather than going upstairs and through your house?
I don’t want to drive over the grass. Especially in spring it would leave grooves in the lawn. 🙃
