Movies like these are the only times it should be 3-hour movies. I watched it in theaters and then I watched the second time. I didn't even realize fede didn't even come in until halfway through the movie. That is a slow build to multiple storylines and it was executed flawlessly
To a certain extent
great movie, but when it comes to story the Lynch version is better
to be honest this fight scene wasn't as good as the one in which this pale Erling Haaland looking bloke fought in the arena against that bald asiatic dude.
@@swiety1981 this has to be a joke
@@user-ju5pr1cp6q this is not a joke. the story is rushed, it's hard to believe that all the events took place in less than 9 months
This movie is masterpiece.
I agree, the production is so good, its a true credit to the source material and for me, way better than the original movie, a true masterpiece.
oh a jewish guy leading all the dark skinned people to kill the white people.. definitely a masterpiece and not total propaganda.
@@smk3390 Feyd was counting on winning do to a poisoned needle that ends up getting caught in the ground and that is what secures Paul's victory. The Harkonnen's were not pale white, Pauls eyes are, "blue within blue, no whites" in the book. You can stack up 10-20 points that ARE NOT a true credit to the source material. Regardless of how you feel about the movie it is very different than the book.
What I love about this scene. There is no music in the background. Just a fight taken place ❤❤❤❤
Gurney’s relief knowing they were this 🤏🏻 close to lose it all
Lisan al-Gaib knew He would win
@@micaelviniciusliraprado4147 as it was written
1:08 really shows where that shield training technology comes in on both Harrkonen and Atriedes alike
Dude playing Feyd was super creepy, top acting there and he was shredded af
Feyd made the same mistake Green Gobline did in Spiderman. Never disrespect your opponents woman
Maybe if Feyd didn't practice on drugged up opponents he would have a better chance 😂
For doing so, Feyd did pretty well against a male Bene Geserit/truthseer/super human who’s been trained by the greatest fighters in the known universe since birth.
@@jadeplanet I always forget about that… he was tested with “the Box” and gom jabbar, which is only meant for women… and Feyd passed, but with psychopathic characteristics, which is kind of “cheating”, if you think about it, but he still passes, which is FKNG CRAZY.
It’s just in the movie, they never made a big deal about it.
After Feyd passed, the gom jabbar process felt a bit water down to me. So I always forget that he is actually a powerful mind like Paul is.
Was he not the better fighter here? He got too cocky and Paul outsmarted him
Better chance? He nearly killed Paul, who was trained by a swordmaster and could keep up with Feydakins. If anything this shows how scary of fighter Feyd was.
This Fight scene was by-far incredible!
0:38 the way he smiled at Paul makes me think they could have been friends in a different life.
They could have probably
I don't think they would be friends since Paul and Feyd are so different. Feyd is cruel at his soul. But I think they both feel and understand at some level that they're more alike than it seems, since they were both victims of the same manipulation plan from the Bene Gesserit, as if they're different sides of the same coin. Paul could have become Feyd and Feyd could have become Paul given the circumstances in which they were born and raised.
@@cls2518 you said it well underneath the cruelty and superiority complex they both understand respect and honor. Two sides of the same coin.
Paul was meant to have been born female and they were meant to be married
@@theblastedfrench Yeah but they don't know that. What could've been usually means nothing to people under duress in these circumstances anyway
Paul is a male Bene Gesserit. The knife wouldn't have slowed him down, but of course Feyd and the rest of the Emperror's party (with the possible exception of Reverend Mother Mohiam) wouldn't know that.
He used "the voice" right before this so they probably have their suspicions
Why wouldn't the blade slowed him for being Bene?
@@prometheus_ads They are trained to bear pain

MASTERPIECE
Stilgar cracks me up
I wish he woulda said “you fought well…harkonnen “
Feyd-Rautha character has been around for too short a time to reveal this character. It's a pity to see that he dropped out of the further story so early.
Paul: *farted*
Stilgar: Lisan al-Ghaib!
😂😂😂
"What Lisan Al Gaib, call an ambulance you idiots, I'm bleeding!"
In the book ... Paul dominated this fight
no way
No really, Paul was so hard pressed by the Harkonnen that was temped to use a Bene Gesserit trick most probably programmed on Feyd, yes, it wasn't as evenly matched a fight as it was on this movie.
@@cesaravegah3787 if u watch the movie of 84, paul use the voice on him at the end... so yes, paul dominated this fight in the book
if you doubt, just 3:30
So Paul got stabbed twice? By using the other blade to stab him?
when I trained this kind of fighting with properly trained students and teachers I left with green bruises in arms and forearms
This scene gave too much credit to Feyd.
The most unrealistic thing about this fight is that second best fighter in the universe doesn't carry a knife with him.
maybe he wasn't allowed to around the emperor and then he got taken away by the fremen with the rest
He was disarmed when captured.
Thx, missed that
remember: he was arrested before the fight, of course he would be without a weapon
Remember they were disarmed? They are captive by the Atreides and the Fremen.
It would’ve been crazy unrealistic had they actually let the second most dangers fighter in the known universe to walk around with a knife 😅
It was inevitable.
i dont understant, Paul was hurt bad, but the other guy killed himself with that estupid move.
Paul was really hurt, but Feyd was stabbed directly in the heart, there was no way he could survive, and what's more, he IS LISAN AL GAIB LOL
How did Feyd-Rautha almost kill Paul? Paul has been fighting for a long time and Feyd-Rauthaonly only fight before Paul was against 3 Atreides 2 of them heavy drugged and the another one was malnourished and weak but not drugged. Oh and he almost lost even with an extra intimidation factor and a snag on the Atreides back. How would he even have a chance against Paul?
That wasn’t his first fight 💀. He’d fought plenty of people before, albeit drunk, and likely had similar training to Paul.
@@WarriorsFan-ob3rt I base it off what I saw and what I didn't hear about Feyd-Rautha because we can't assume anything besides maybe he fought other drugged Atreides and yes he did have training because he knew how to use a blade in combat but that's it. He was a good villain with great character development but very little combat development.
In the book it is described that this fight is Feyd's hundredth fight, that is, he was already a great warrior and the book makes this very clear, including in the book they have a lot of difficulty ending the fight, as they are both great opponents.
@@CinemaCas I never read the book but if that's it says then it would make sense it was a difficult fight for Paul.
@@CinemaCas wait, I also heard in the books Paul still beat him with ease.
Top🔥
mual abid vs bobo the jihad
porque paul no utilizo la voz en feyd si este podia?
because it's hand-to-hand combat only, "no powers"
This Actor is not good! A Lisan AL Gaib have Charisma and Power ! This is a Boy
Martinez Larry Taylor Maria Thompson Amy
The real movie is great 😂😂😂
The way people d1e instantly from a single stab wound in the movies is ridiculous. If anything you would get a massive adrenaline surge...
Depends where. Stab any big vessel like the aorta and you’ll be down faster than Feyd here.
@@J117-t2g Looked like it was left of the diaphragm but that was about a 9" blade fully dug in.
@@grindordie3336 why u so dumb? he got stab in the middle, so paul destroyed his heart, feyd stabbed paul in the stomach
Correct me if Im wrong, but Feyd is much more better fighter. XD
I have the same question. It looks like Feyd stabbed himself. There is no way Paul could turn that knife 180 degrees and stab Feyd?
Masterpice figt
Paul finds some fluff in his bellybutton. Stilgar- 'Lisan Al Gaib!'
Paul blows his nose, Stilgar: “It is as it was foretold!!” 😲🙇♂️🙌
Faith
🤣🤣
My brother and I quote this movie so many times. My fav time is when someone says anything to do with hope.
I so much want to shout THATS NOT HOPE!!! every time 🤣 that and when Paul says "SILENCE!"
KKKKKKKKKKKKK
This is one of the best movies i have i seen...
LISAN AL GAIB!
É ELE, O GIGANTE 🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣
Those look more like small swords than knives!!
I had to watch this scene again and again. I watched the arms and the knives. Paul MH is becoming a superhero, so let's use Prof Jeff Kripal's book, Mutants and Mystics. Some superheroes get bitten by radioactive insects (Spiderman&Green Hornet), some get huge doses of radiation (Manhattan), some drink chemical poison. Watch LUCY again and see Lucy (Scarlett J) get injected with Blue Juice ? What a head trip ! The Byrds sang "Eight Miles High"... Paul got dosed with Blue Juice, then Paul had a wild mind-expanding trip. Now Paul has hidden, emerging new superpowers.
Now watch Rob Roy - the sword fight scene- and see how LiamN- the kilted Scotsman- faked being exhausted ??? He pretended to be more tired than he actually was, to draw the fancy bad guy closer with his fencing sword. RobRoy suddenly grabbed the sword blade and held hit, with bloody fingers. But he was ready to sacrifice a few fingers to win this fight. Then he slashed with his huge heavy claymore cutlass and nearly cut the bad guy's head off. A successful deception !
And so what was Paul doing ? Assume that his new intelligence is enormous - and that he can see into the future. He has hypnotic powers and The Voice. In Dune Movie #2, see a scene where Paul orders a captured Sardukar soldier to carry a message. The soldier complains, but Paul says, "SUBMIT, CAPTAIN !" in that deep powerful voice, and the captain goes limp. Paul has amazing mind powers; he can compel obedience.
I think FeydRautha poked PaulMH in the far left side, with Paul's own knife ? But maybe it just ripped into the side of Paul's baggy still suit ? We do not see blood spurting. We see Paul's eyes go wide... He does not blink. He is trying to hypnotize and distract Feyd Rautha. Feyd comes close for the final thrust - he likes to kill by neck chopping ? Paul is panting and wheezing, pretending that his lungs are filling with blood. Paul grabs Feyd's sword blade with his right hand. He is wearing black Cut-Proof gloves. So - no blood from his fingers ?
Meanwhile Paul is staring into Feyd's eyes, without blinking, saying nothing. But Paul may be using BeneG mind control, or silently using The Voice ??? Trying to hypnotize Feyd.
Paul has amazing new superhero powers, ever since drinking The Blue Juice. We must not underestimate his new powers. He is becoming a superhero: the Lisan Al Gaib.
Feyd gets distracted by staring into Paul's blue eyes ? Feyd wasn't paying any attention to Paul's left arm and left hand. There is not much space between them, but Paul silently uses his left hand to pull his sword out of the still suit wound. (They did not show us this SNEAKY move.) Then Paul does a backhand thrust and pierces Feyd's armor, and shoves that long Fremen blade deep, deep into Feyd's heart. We saw Aria - in Game of Thrones- do that sneaky move: she dropped the Valerian Steel knife, caught the knife, stabbed with the knife to kill the Night King. He was not watching her left hand. A sneaky move ! Feyd should have worn cut-proof armor and a poisoned sword ? But Paul has cut-proof black gloves.
And so Feyd died quickly ... End of scene.
Paul sounds like Batman
Thompson Paul Lopez Barbara Martin Eric
Allen Joseph Robinson Mary Harris Kenneth
I don’t understand. It looks like Feyd could have killed Paul in the finally move but instead sacrificed himself. Why? 😮
No, actually I don't think so.
Mf would be dead if not holding back
Great fight scene. Supposedly in the book, Feyd could have used a different technique to win against Paul, but he didn’t want to do so. For all the haters: Let’s see you last 3 secs in a fight like this one before you talk all that smack.
So it is
She already said they'll use me to try to hurt you
ces beau de rever
Sorry but how was this fight even close? Paul toyed with one of the best fremen fighters ever and Feyd needed help to beat one Atreides fighter. It does not make sense to me.
They are both incredible fighters. IT WOULD OBVIOUSLY BE A TIGHT FIGHT, sorry.
@@CinemaCas how so?
It is mentioned in the dune series that feyd was one of the best sword fighters of his time
Feyd Rautha was hardly one of the best. He was better than average…maybe. He isnt in the same league as Paul. Feyd get bodied in the books…and he should…Paul is nearly a god.
Why does Paul gets stabbed and don't even falls, Feyd gets stabbed, dies instantly.
Feyd was stabbed in the heart, which is fatal. Paul was stabbed in the stomach, which is bad, but it didn’t hit vital organs.
Paul hit him in a fatal place, unlike Feyd who stuck him in a non-lethal place
Welcome to the year 2024 where people are so incredibly dumb as to not know that being stabbed in the HEART is fatal!
They don't explain it, but in the book they explain that Paul already knew that he had to let himself be stabbed in order to defeat him. He was already waiting for that stab.
Knives, King Fu, tf about this movie makes it scifi?!
Do you know what sci fi means?
Space exploration, space travel, set in the year 10K, machines, giant harvesters, cruisers that fly across the planet's surface, advanced medicine, personal and vehicular shields... You miss all those?
The distant planet they are fighting on far into the future. I mean why am I even writing this. How have IQ's plummeted so much in the last 10 years.
