Man What a loss., he was great.
I grew up with Billy Borsey (Mink’s name) and he was one of my best friends. At a very early age, Billy was just never interested in school and dropped out as soon as he could. His earliest band -Billy and The Kids-was terrific.
Great to read.
Willie was one of a kind.
What a great story. I saw him decades ago. So sad he’s gone. The longer it gets, the more we realize what a truly unique talent he was
He goes right to your heart
JEALOUSY and Negligence that he’s not in Rock HOF
Just a great song all around
Unforgettable Willy... Forever an 💖🌹
He was the epitome of cool and with all that talent. I love him. 🌹❤
Am a brand new fan and how did he ever get by me? I have been playing Italian Shoes non stop since I first listened to it a couple of days ago. He's adorable, sharp dresser, and taken from us too soon. I am sad about this! But I have a whole lot of catching up to do with his music 🎶 and I can agree 💯 % with your comment. 🌹 rosita (and he was so close by---- one state from me!) 🌹
@@rositachadronet6187 einmal WILLY immer WILLY, es ist eine angenehme Droge, ich liebe seine Stimme und sein Lachen !

Mink DeVille (1974-86) was a rock band known for its association with early punk rock bands at New York's CBGB nightclub and for being a showcase for the music of Willy DeVille. The band recorded six albums in the years 1977 to 1985. I stand by my statement. He's from Ct, played , SF, NY, New Orleans, found some commercial success in the EU in the 80's.
Love him. Saw him at the Hullabaloo, upstate outside Albany back in the day....
Wow, very impressive performance. Mink on top of his game.
Mink DeVille was the band name. Willy DeVille kept the name, even though the band broke up during the Return To Magenta recording sessions.
Thank you. A lot of great music in him. Thanks again.
Absolutely brilliant Thankyou 💜
The downside of being 22 is none of my friends know any of these gems
Just shows you have great taste 👍

Interesting how many in band played with him throughout the years
A lot, but the music was always fantastic.
I like this version very much but I also like the studio version. I can't decide between them. I wish you'd included both. Many thanks for the high quality upload
Studio version is Mink DeVille.
This one just rips your heart out

Paul James!
Är på topp, eller hur. Vill att han skulle leva. Eller hur 3:09 3:09 3:09
The chorus sounds like “18” by Alice Cooper
Sorry but that guitar sounds SO lame compared to Louis'. Also, I miss Ruben's bass. While Willy is tremendous, as always, this band has got to GO!
