Another GREAT VID! I'm currently struggling with my putting, so i really enjoyed the Short, Medium, Long along with the Gate Putting drills. I'll definitely be putting them to use on the practice green. Keep up the great work gents!
So I purchased James S books a couple of months ago but didn’t know he is Russell’s coach at that time. I am a member at same club as Russell and saw him recently to see if he could give me a tip with chips since the reserve kinematic sequence is so different from all I have done in the past. He talk to me about a drill that helps him with technique. I did picked something from this video so when I get a chance. I do need to put more block practice into it. However, my putting improved by 2.4 strokes gained. My shots 50-120 yards also improved. My HC is not great so have to continue working and updating my distances.
You may not be on tour anymore but because you're so busy with media and PGA Tour work, I think it creates a really cool opportunity for you to start a skill-development documentation series. Love videos with your coaches and I love seeing you make efforts to keep your game sharp. Out of curiosity, would you have any interest in trying to create some content around you preparing for 1-2 of your favorite tournaments of the year? I'm sure you can find a few that still gets you going. Would love series like this where you're working on your game and giving the followers something to feel invested into with you. Would love to support you as you try to prep for 1-2 tournament events a year for the TH-cam channel. You would kill it man
Takeaway: reading the putt from the other side and breaking it into sections. no excuses, everyone doesn't have a practice facility like this especially at the muni, some ideas to work in a net with the simulator though I have his two short game books already but just starting to read the putting book. I actually had to use your link in the show notes, because everyone is a short game master on Facebook.
Almost never comment on YT videos but this is one of the best short game videos out there....feels like stealing watching this for free
love hearing that - so glad it's helpful!
What an awesome video. Thanks for sharing!

Takeaways: first read a putt from the "other" side. When chipping, focus on the landing spot.
Can also cut a tennis ball in half to create that aid to help feeling like you push off force pedal
@@tuckerjensen2375 fantastic tip 📝
