Munnar though is in Kerala has a majority population from the neighbouring state Tamilnadu who have settled here for long as there are lots of Tea Estates where these people work. So the procession that you saw was part of Tamil tradition. Anyway all live here and celebrate their local festivities. ❤❤❤❤
8.35 the religious festival u came across is actually of the tamil community of the locality. The tea garden belt (cardamom hills), Munnar to Thekkady ( and Trivandrum) has tamil communities who came as migrant estate workers during british times when they developed the estates. In many places, munnar, Vandiperiyar etc you get the Tamilnadu vibes.
Munnar is already one of the fantastic places to visit in India but I must say, your drone shots made it breathtaking! Being an Indian I never saw such beauty of Munnar from up above by drone! Thank you and love you two ❤❤🇮🇳🙏🙏
Mentioning prices for foods and other things where you are traveling is interesting and appreciated. It's a different land in so many respects. Well done, guys!
India is the 2nd largest tea grower but we drink up 90% of it😆😆. There are different types of tea. Different times of cutting throughout the year produce different medicinal benifits. Munnar tea is quite different from Darjeeling or Assam tea in the north. British tea is very different from any process of tea making here
Bro im Indian what ur doing is incredible this was my dream too .. drive from south to north all the way up-to Ladakh .. really its dream come true when i watch u guys .. the life experiences are worth it
Wow. The landscape filled my tv screen. Videography is next level. Hang on, Ollie, you said you didn't like tea lol. You both are truly immersing youselves in the culture of India. Nov 2026 Im returning to India for my third ride. This time through Madhya Pradesh. Stay safe, travel well and remain HAPPY AND ALIVE.🤩
This is India's spice garden. Dutch and East India Companies were set up to trade these things in Europe. Portugal found the Indian Ocean trade route to find the source of pepper and cardomom which is native to these hills.
Guyz... I think it is some kind of a blessing that I happened to check out your channel and as I said earlier I am living my dreams through your vlogs. What a breathtaking quality of videography on Munnar Landscapes. Stay blessed both of you.
Now you know where all the workers were going. Beautiful and interesting place.. Magnificent views. Cool names for the bikes. Think I'll have a cup of tea. it's 8F here. Cold and snowy. All good from east Kentucky USA. Next time
Lovely to see an honest roadtrip, being a biker myself i can truly imagine the thrill of starting the bike and the road that lays ahead!! Fahren Sie sicher, meine Freunde, und geben Sie Ihre Route nicht im Voraus bekannt. Machen Sie das, was normalerweise der niederländische Biker tut
inspired by you all im planning to go an India road trip next year , i recently got myself a royal enfield and currently it is being modified 😊, i may also start posting my videos from next year
Hola L&O, This was a beautiful episode. I had no idea that India was so green. The drive from the cardamom plantations to the tea plantations was absolutely amazing. So lush and so many shades of green! I love all the information that you include in each episode. It's nice to hear some background on these places. It brings a stronger connection. You two are looking good and looking like you are having a lot of fun! I like the names for the bikes. Lol, I name everything Bob! 😂 Safe and happy travels, see you in the next one. Happy and alive! Lots of love, Sue ❤❤❤
Hi! the wettest place on earth is in india with lot of rainfall hence the greenery and india also has most fertile soil also, snow desert glacier himalayas saltflats forest ocean and islands too almost everything, Please check 'india in 11 minutes' video in youtube by XtremeMotoAdventure just skip the conversation in beginning of that video and see you'll be surprised what india has been kept hidden from you 👍👍
Loved to see you visited Munnar the scenery is just breathtaking and watching the people working on the tea plantation so colourful in their wonderful clothes
You guys are quite genuine i can tell , same time in india there is another foreign couple on tour on bike completely sponsored by bmw india, there videos feel so superficial and mundane and fake. But you guys are the real deal good job 👍
Memory-reviving vlogs! I am RELIVING my time....BIG thanks for that...I had been on all of these beautiful places exactly a year ago......CAUTION! be careful with road traffic especially oncoming vehicles, they have a tendency of coming on your side of the road at crazy speeds including from blind--turns / curves / corners....HAPPY RIDING!
India is famous for love, unity, diversity, hospitality & our theme is ( Vasudev kutumbkam ) means whole world is one family. So are fully safe & Secured in india. God bless you & i wish your journey's experience is life's excellent journey for you.
What a most enjoyable video. You two are having a whale of a time with all that Indian food. The bikes look the business for this trip. All the best John & Penny, ' Old and Alive bikers '. 😊✌🏍
Nice vlog guys. keep it up and get your silver button soon! whenever you guys plan to visit here in the Philippines just give me a Buzz, I will get all sorted for you, I am from Kerala as well but settled here in the philippnes
Hi Lavi and ollie, great video, The huge statue with the elephant head was very impressive, and the festival very colourful, you really are getting popular with people of all ages wanting a photo with you, I will have to start calling you sir and madam instead of Lavi and ollie 😂. Take care from Roy 👍 😊.
Finally you are in Munnar!! Nice shots from Gap road especially drone shots…if you have time try to visit Meeshapulimala sunrise …that will be absolutely life time experience if weather favours you both…and please try to come Thrissur…Drive very very carefully…keep moving 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Once again a great video guys. It's so refreshing to watch the Munnar Valley. BDW that 2nd largest idol part was incorrect. During the Ganpati festival, Mumbai gets an even bigger idol every year than this statue. So you can imagine how big our permanent statues can be. So it was just a bluff.
Good to see you are enjoying our spectacular sceneries surrounded by Tea estates. I think it is called as Kannan Devan estates covering thousands of acres belongs to India's renown Tata group of companies scattered in various part of the world. Enjoyed both of your motor bike ride too.
Hi bro South india is famous for growing spices, bananas & coconut, but famous for tea growing is Assam in north Indian region. Love from Ludhiana Punjab India.
Food over there is great value and really spicy you look like you are getting the taste for it. Like the bike names are you now the "king of the swingers and jungle VIPs" ? in the nicest way. You should do Darjeeling (the tea capital) if you have time but I think it would be too far up the north east. We went up the mountain railway there.

As per East india company the largest commodity by trade volume was opium , tea was one of many othe commodities
@kanpurunplugged9970 it's actually pepper and spice and ghee is sold mostly by east india British. Opium is by east india Dutch.
Which mobile holder are you using....?
A big hug from Brazil 🤗😃🇧🇷
Always following you 👊🚀
Thank you ❤️

what is that festival called and can u explain that procession?
Please don't use terms like dominant tamil community, which is factually wrong.
'Pongal ' festival @@harshvardhansinghchouhan6697
@@kkverma4078 wrong in the sense ??
@kkverma4078 ok i've deleted the word dominant :)
Can't wait for the next episode
