    Andy Wake
Explains what you should be working on first when you are new to boxing.
    Basic Summary
    Practise does NOT make perfect
    Use blocked practise
    Separate the practise into blocks
To create a motor pattern can take 3-500 repetitions
Use around 15-25 repetitions per block make sure you don’t get fatigued.
Do something else in the meantime
    Firstly practise
    Technique
    Then Stamina
These are more important than speed or power
    Build stamina by F.I.T.
    Fitness
    Intensity
    Time
    HOW do we do this
    1. Increase the number of rounds first
    2. Increase the LENGTH of the rounds ( Intensity)
    3. Increase the frequency of the sessions per week
    Stay below your aerobic threshold
Back off a little if tired or injured.
DON’T do more than 5 times a week unless you are a competitive boxer with at least 2 years of experience.
    Summarise
    Remember Quality BEFORE QUANTITY
When and why to change your routine
    Change after 12-16 weeks

Really good video. Thanks for clearing up the training frequency question. I've been training for three years and find it hard to take rest days as I love training so much. I've been doing 4 boxing sessions and two 3km runs a week. I'm 55 so 5 days a week would probably be a lot more sensible. Great bit of advice!
