Hey everyone! Thanks so much for watching. I hope you enjoyed this tour of Britannia. Have you cruised on Britannia before? What did you think of the ship? Also my apologies for the typo on ‘Tariff’ - never copy & paste a caption as it can make a typo so much worse and I hope it doesn’t bother you too much! Britannia is a pretty big ship, but felt really nicely laid out - though I do think all ships should have a promenade / boat deck! Thanks again for watching.
Been on many cruises, Med and Caribbean but this ship is by far the worst I've ever been on. So old fashioned in its approach. Royal Carribean all the way !
Thanks Chris , really enjoyed the tour that you gave us of Britannia , me and the wife are going cruising on her again Easter 2020 and we are really looking forward to it .
Hi Chris, we are on her for a Norwegian fjord cruise later this year. First time on P&O since we are from the USA. What types of lectures do they have available?
Thanks Chris. Does the ship provide free wifi and internet including inside the cabins? If not, I have to well prepare my own wifi and internet. Thanks very much
Lovely informative video, thank you. We were in the Caribbean on Britannia Feb/March 2020 (just avoided the first lockdown!). We thought she was a beautiful, elegant, classy ship but not our favorite. She is rather large but the crowds were cleverly dispersed throughout the ship so it never really seemed overcrowded - EXCEPT the sun deck!! Oh my word - we’ve never seen so many oiled bodies crammed on sun beds or so many unsupervised children occupying hot tubs!! It was an insult to anyone’s eardrums to even cross that area as the music was absolutely deafening! However, the Retreat area and Serenity pool were wonderful as was the Hydrotherapy pool and Spa. Britannia isn’t the best designed ship for negotiating different decks. She has no promenade deck which makes it difficult for getting that bit of exercise you need after all that sumptuous food - by the time you’ve searched for steps taking you to other decks and ended up back in the same place you started from, it’s time for dinner!! She wouldn’t be our first choice again, but we wouldn’t say no if she was the only one available!!
Many thanks am due back on Britannia soon and got me in the mood remembering all the lovely places to eat but you didn’t show the hydrotherapy suite how come ?
Hi britanna looks lovely have not been on it yet hope to come on it one day we have a friend who works on the ship he's name is ghandi Raj a very nice person you could meet
Went on canaries cruise three years ago , it seemed a bit dingy inside with a lot of brown and magnolia, Food wasn't great like pub grub, strange small atrium with what looked like a cornetto chandelier ! The entertainment was good, we chose a balcony cabin which was lovely would look for some other cruise line next time , although carnival owns P& O as well as many other cruise company's !
That is a 100% deal breaker for me. Last time we crossed the Atlantic on an RCI which had a massive promenade deck where we spent half the day, away from the music and chaos up on the pool deck area. When we got to our first port, there was a new Princess ship parked next to us which had no promenade deck. I found it to look very claustrophobic.
I was hired last june 25 2019 by my manning agency.. P&O uk. Im waiting for my appearance of my us visa hopefully this year or January 2020 will join this big ship...
No promenade deck?. Wont sail on it . Its my favourite deck, close to the sea, best place to spend half the day and avoiding the crowds. I suppose they want to keep you within pestering distance of a sales/drinks outlet/waiter every minute of the day. The last cruise line I banned was Carnival when they removed all the deck chairs from the promenade deck, so I asked why and the clown at reception told me 'Its illegal' .
Thanks to Carnival, P&O lost it's unique cruising experience some years ago! A great pity seeing all of their great ships slowly going the same way and losing their identity. The buff funnel's were a famous sight to see in many far away places but this has been stripped away for a rather dull paint job! The Union Jack plastered all over the bow of the fleet is also a little cheap and embarrassing. Cruising used to be an adventure but now 'valued passengers' (guests) are mainly cash processed whilst on board which is another american idea! I have cruised with P&O and Princess for many years and loved it dearly but sadly, in my opinion, things have not improved. The ships are now getting too big, carrying too many people, although I would say the interior design of many public spaces on board are excellent, along with the wider choice of entertainment and eating venues. A P&O cruise used to be a perfect holiday, with the chance to dress up some nights - where else can you do that? The emphasis is now very much casual. However, I am so very pleased that I cruised when I did as I will not be doing it anymore! Sorry! Dedicated cruiser from 1974 -2010.
My wife and i have cruised for over 40 years and have clocked up about 120 cruises 90% P & O. We have witnessed the slow degradation of the P & O ethos and identity. Including the change of Funnel color. It was always easy to identify its unique colour. So Sad. By the way good video. We are back on it 9th June 2023 rr

It's spelt Tariff, not Tarrif .... small point but important if you're trying to be professional!!
😱 oops!!
Hope will join the ship this year or nxt year

Royal Carribean all the way !
Was on Britannia 4 years ago. About to go on two of her "staycation" cruises - can't wait. Excellent tour video
Not going for 15 months but this video has made me even more excited
can’t wait to sail on the Britannia in 2023!
She’s an impressive Ship.
I really fancy a cruise on this ship. After a long break I will soon be sailing again. Look forward to one of your onboard talks.
Had 3 great cruises on ship round the med
Thanks Chris, a really good taste of Britannia. I have been on board and it’s a very good representation xxx
Thanks Chris , really enjoyed the tour that you gave us of Britannia , me and the wife are going cruising on her again Easter 2020 and we are really looking forward to it .
Thanks have a wonderful cruise.
wondering if the food has some international options and it’s not just english food

So far as I can remember P&O has fast wifi and unlimited plans but that was pre-pandemic. Maybe better to ask them.
Thanks Chris. I really enjoyed this and hope to sail on Britannia one day soon
Missing being on a cruise ship! Hopefully we can return in 2021!

One of the better tours on TH-cam of Brittania. That said you missed the Sunset bar :P
Noooooooooo 🤯😂

Oops! I must have missed it.
Looks amazing. Can’t wait to go in 2 weeks.!😍

One less windger next time on board happy days!!
Not having a proper promenade deck has made this ship a non-starter..we do love them!

Chris, do you travel alone? I am likely to travel alone but the price is almost as much as for 2 people. Any advice please?
I rarely travel alone. I know some people who do go via boutique travel agents who can pair them up with other solo travellers.
@@ChrisFrameOfficial, thank-you
Hi, I think you missed the gym area, something i always interested in.
Although, I think you ticked all the other boxes.
Yes I did :( and I even have photos of it too. Too late to edit now so sorry!
Accesable cabins would be useful for all ships
Was hoping to see info re breakfast and lunch options?
Great suggestion! Next time :)
My next joining is on Britannia
Is there a crazy golf on britannia
I was hired last june 25 2019 by my manning agency.. P&O uk. Im waiting for my appearance of my us visa hopefully this year or January 2020 will join this big ship...
kevin catungal omg ! Im going in may 😍
I don't know if it's the time of day that filming took place but the ship looks dark with a lack of natural light. Correct me if I'm wrong.
I think it’s probably more that outside it was very dark and grey and raining. She didn’t feel dark inside from memory (it’s a while ago now)
@@ChrisFrameOfficial thanks for the info. We enjoy your posts.

My 🛳 home for 10 months....
Ketkit Daangtela wtf your going for 13 months
Getting like Butlins at sea . cruise number 7 on the 17th August & probably the last on this ship . See how many drunken teenagers are on this one
Go during the holidays expect teenagers...
That was more like an advertisement for P&O, I thought I was going to see an actual review of the ship.
Title says tour not review 😊 Sorry to disappoint.
Is there a gym?
Ooh yes there is. It’s up the top but I couldn’t get access to it while it was empty. Sorry.
Can I take a bottle of water onboard?
Pretty sure you can
