Thanks for the video, I have an L6 rom that I bought and was afraid of messing up the settings, Got her set it up like yours. Thanks! I love the ball save feature
The ball saver is great. I usually don't mind not having a ball save but I have plenty of friends who come over who aren't pinball people and it's not too fun for them when a ball ends right away. I wish I could find a Whirlwind ROM with a ball saver. Maybe I'll figure out how to write my own.
Just found out about your channel from Mike with Pinball Shenanigans and Mark from Mark's Basement Arcade. Looking forward to diving in to your channel and checking out your library!.
Thank you so much for this, great video series! I just bought my first White Water so this is very helpful. Quick question: what do you usually do with mylar? My PF has lots of it and the edges got loose and dirty with the years...
Hi, thank you for the videos. I have a White Water pinball and yesterday I changed my dmd because it was with a dead line and I also changed the game version to lh6, I only made those two changes without touching anything else but now the lights of the topper do not work, I do not know what could have happened and I thought that maybe Could you help me, greetings from Spain
@@ArcadeCrusade Thanks, I appreciate all the help. Would this be the socket needed ? It looked a little different from the one in your video www.marcospecialties.com/pinball-parts/DIP28-3
Arcade Crusade, what was the differences between the older ROM file LH-5 compared to the LH-6? what were the differences it made to the pinball gameWhen installing a different NVRAM chip how do you know which jumpers to remove or add is these a chart in the manual?Do you have a youtube video testing the switch matrix circuit and lamp matrix circuit using an ohm meter and volt meter?
White water has always been my favourite pinball machine. Great work
Great video.
Great work on this one. Those ramps seemed to be a giant pain to remove!

Doing well. Just been taking a break from arcade/pinball stuff for a while. I've got a few videos I need to edit/upload. Should be coming back soon!

at the 15 minute mark you install a new socket, does that come with NVRAM or is that a separate purchase ?
Based on where you buy the NVRAM, some sellers include the socket, some do not. Mine came with the socket.

I think i figured it out. It must be the .6" option here www.marcospecialties.com/pinball-parts/DIP28
@@belvederesanders1165 That socket isn't wide enough. You're looking for this socket: www.marcospecialties.com/pinball-parts/DIP28
@@ArcadeCrusade thanks again, your videos gave me the confidence to start turning screwdrivers myself. I can't tell you how much it's helped.
