Sorry, but the “dogmatic” view is what has been imposed by institutions such as the church for hundreds or thousands of years, that there’s some undetectable realm called “spirit realm” or some such nonsense, and that we must obey in order to fulfill the whims of malevolent creatures like demons and Gods. We finally saw society free itself during the Enlightenment, when rationalism and empiricism produced the materialist view. This put the individual in a lead role in his or her own story for the first time in human history. But now, thanks to intellectual charlatans, there’s a reemergence of idealism that makes absolutely NO sense. David Bohm, one of my personal intellectual heroes, was certainly not an idealist and he certainly wasn’t one of the spiritualists who dismiss materialism. He is in fact the opposite. He was driven out of the US during the McCarthy era when his socialist views were viewed contemptuously, and his refusal to rat on his communist friends got him expelled from the US, where apparently you do not have a right to free speech if you’re a member of the REAL left (not the corporate-driven SJW version which has absolutely nothing to do with leftism except the label they stole while atrocious asshats like Tucker Carlson are more than happy to help them steal it).
Totally suits the name sublime sage. Mr. Bohm very holistic explanation, now we have way too many divisions and profession and divided the subjects.
