Ahh, for me, the #1 spot will always go to Majora.
1) It's a freaking deity, only limited by the power of those who wear it's mask.
2) It doesn't want power for itself, or the Triforce or any of that. It consciously wants pure distraction, going as far as possessing an imp to get it, just for the sake of it. It has no allies rather than itself, it doesn't care about anything rather than it's ultimate goal of destruction.

@Mike fuller cooking tutorials yeah but you see, Demise wanted the Triforce, he wanted it's power. Demise is evil for a reason and with an ultimate purpose.
Majora is evil because...yes, I like the explanation that they want to destroy Termina as a sort of revenge for being sealed away, but other than that it seems that Majora is evil for no reason. They never say why. And they also don't have an ultimate goal. They never mention any plan for after the world is destroyed. And that's why I like them more.
@Mike fuller cooking tutorials I don't believe Demise to be the source of Majora as I believe that Termina is not really affected by what's going on in Hyrule, not to that extent at least.
Also yes, probably if you compare the two Demise could maybe be more powerful than Majora, but again, I don't think he's more evil. Demise wants, from what I could understand because I didn't play Skyward Sword, to rule the world and claim the Triforce, he wants to be the most powerful being ever. Majora doesn't want that, they fight for nothing but death. They never mention that they want to be powerful or rule, they just want to destroy everything. Of course this is a viewpoint but still. Also Majora didn't really manage to get any allies, even their own people ran away in fear. SkullKid is just possessed.
Yeah, maybe another reason why I like Majora so much is that the whole "I put a mask on and now I'm a disposable individual" reminds me a lot of the power dwelling inside Sauron's Ring (the similarities end there, Sauron is more like a Demise kind of guy).

Nah its gotta be demise. He is literally the king of demons, he has conquered time and space and his immeasurable power that he wants to use to bring darkness and tyrannical rule everywhere. Plus he is technically responsible for anything ganondorf did in any game

It's crazy to think about had Demise won in Skyward Sword, Ganon wouldn't exist as Ganon or Ganondorf is the reincarnation of Demise because of the curse he put upon Link and Zelda after defeating him.

Not gonna lie, Vaati should've been in the godlike villains. He absorbed the light force, granting him limitless power. He also took the magic cap which has the power to grant wishes whoever possess it.
But yes he got less powerful later on in the series but still, Vaati in Minish Cap is a whole other level.
Vaati at least in his Minish Cap incarnation is definitely in the Godlike villains category. He inexplicably gets weaker and less threatening in the other games he appears in.
Even in his weaker forms Vaati is straight up harder to kill than Ganon. Any sacred sword works on Ganon, but you need the Four Sword specifically to hurt Vaati

Least Good: Midna ( mainly because she at first only helped Link out of her own selfish desires and she's also shown to have a dark side in the beginning)
Good: Fi (aside from being annoying for the player she's the average video game companion)
Most Good: Zelda ( yep Zelda was Link's companion at one point)

i believe this is from the manga so take it with a grain of salt that majora was a monster that only craved two things The death and suffering of others and it's own demise a traveler came along one day and then talked with the creature gained an understanding of it and offered help... they played the song of healing turning the monster into a mask

Skull kid is implied to have supposed to have attacked Link in Twilight Princess. Hence why the Master Sword is the Woods and he _leads Link to it._
Same deal with why he attacks Adult Link in OoT- Adults are *not* supposed to be in the Lost Woods inside Kokiri Forest. If they are, it means they're looking for something. Which would usually be: The Deku Tree. The Sage of Winds/Forest. The Spiritual Stone.
Byrne is so underrated, his theme is boppin, his design is pretty decent, and the writing in spirit tracks is amazing. I really hope Nintendo pays attention to the ds zelda games

Ghirahim is an AMAZING villain. His unpredictability makes him really interesting

The Contessa definitely. Someone who can say that they are above good or evil is enough of a red flag
I think Vaati should have earned a higher place, considering that he didn't have to be egged on by Ganon until that last appearance.
Regarding Yuga, I think there's a bit of 'The Mind is a plaything of the body' going on, seeing as soon as he fuses with Ganon, he becomes obsessed with Link and ruling the world.
White it's possible it was his plan all along, fusing with Ganon did nothing for his mental state.

It's actually not Bellum who gets absorbed into the Phantom Sword, its that Life Force Sand which gets filled in the Phantom Hourglass with which the Phantom Sword was made of
A bit off topic, in Ancient Egypt, it was believed that gods don't reincarnate, they take hosts that they can influence or control. Maybe that's what's up with Ganondorf (the influencee)/Ganon (the true form of the Curse of Demise). It doesn't excuse his actions, but it might make him redeemable at some point.
I just had an idea for a Legend of Zelda RTS:
The Good campaign is a normal war between Ganondorf's armies and it ends with him being sealed away.
The Evil campaign takes the perspective of Ganondorf before Wind Waker. It ends with him winning but then the rains begin to fall. But it could easily give us a whole game that gives us a massive backstory for Ganondorf.
It could be like Battle for Middle Earth.

As mentioned by the Essence of the Triforce at the end of the game, and by a monster tree you can talk to in the Dark World to the east-northeast of the Pyramid of Power, Ganondorf's wish was to rule the world. It's only that the Triforce's "expression" of Ganondorf's wish was to turn the Sacred Realm into the Dark World.
So basically Ganon forgot to specify.
Overall good list, and I can understand giving Demise the top spot just for sheer scope of his influence on the rest of the series...but at the same time once we finally see him he comes off as almost honorable, willing to not only grant Link a chance to face him but creating/making a portal to a new plane for their fight so it would not damage Hyrule and allowing Link to take as long as he needs to prepare for the fight, as opposed to the sheer chaotic malevolence of Majora who not only intended to destroy a world, but seems to actively draw it out to feed on the despair of the inhabitants given it is made clear when the giants stop the moon he could have been 'pulling harder' for lack of a better way to put it and had the moon strike down faster. Add in the shattering of the Great Fairies, which honestly probably count as demigods in their own right, the sealing and corruption of the four guardian god giants, and the twisted mindset that sees all the havoc it has inflicted on Termina as a mere game, which begs the question of what it being serious would look like, rambled a bit there, but point is, if we are ranking by raw evil, I would put Majora at gold, or at worst silver if you are upping Demise due to being technically responsible for all Ganondorf/Ganons as Ganon only wanted to rule the world not destroy it for sadistic amusement/some sort of power boost, really is unclear what it gains from blowing up Termina, which is part of the intrigue I suppose for me.
Except they underestimate many villains due to forgetting that they are doing evil to most evil not weak to powerful
@@LucarioBot it does feel like a mix of the two went into the process, to a degree I can see more powerful as a factor as it effects the scale their evil actions can effect, but they should have perhaps made the title a bit different to reflect that they mean who are the worst threats not solely how evil this person is...because if how evil they are was the sole qualifier I would have to make a lot more changes

I think skull kid in twilight princess was testing the hero and protecting the sword from unworthy individuals. As for adult link, that’s a different version of the skull kid since he never got to befriend link in that time line.

Notes and my Opinions I made while watching the vid:
I don’t know how accurate these sound because I have only looked into the lore of some canon zelda games but not others (an example of this would be like Ocarina of Time and Majoras Mask, both to an extent-there’s always more to learn and speculate about)
-I’m surprised that you didn’t mention Dorian from botw for the low lvl villains category but I also get that he’s also kinda a minor character in botw’s world as opposed to skullkid
-I’m also surprised that you included age of calamity in this, mostly due to the whole debate about the game being canon
-Another thing that I wasn’t expecting was Vaati being in just the powerful villains list and not the godlike ones because of how he is in minish cap and how he ends up returning several times eventhough he’s less powerful
-I’m tempted to argue about Giraham’s placement in powerful villains instead of godlike villains too considering how he was basically Demise’s right hand man servant sword and I would like to argue that he should be right under Demise if not closer to Denise’s placement (or at least farther up on the list) considering how his main appearance is in skyward sword showing how he’s been there since the beginning and how he toys with Link by sparing his life
-I feel like Zant should be under Giraham in this list because of his actions and how he was manipulatived by Ganondorf vs those who willingly side by Demise such as Giraham
?-Ganondorf should probably be higher with his placement on the list due to him being an incarnation of Demise
-I feel like Calamity Gamon should be higher on the Godlike villains list because of how the Calamity is “pure malice incarnate” aka straight hatred and how long and the amount of damage it did to botw’s Hyrule considering that by the time we play as link after being in the shrine of resurrection for 100 yrs that it’s an apocalyptic kind of setting (not quite as thrust in your face as a whole moon about to fall on termina but still pretty apocalyptic) but still below Demise himself(my opinion). Oh yeah, it also went over to age of calamity’s timeline to try to raise hell there too. (I unfortunately don’t know much about seasons and ages so I don’t know how much weight this holds, I do know that the ganon in those games wasn’t an intelligent ganon possibly due to twinrova making a jank revival meaning he was kinda just angrily swinging around a trident at link but his physical strength and hatre does make him a dangerous entity, just not enough to be more powerful than the calamity bc of what I stated earlier in this note)
-I would argue about shadow links placement due to how he was by Ganon’s side vs smth like the calamity however he is a reflection of the hero and released Vaati so he is some kind of powerful entity
-I would like to greatly argue about Majoras placement here,-this dude raised hell on Termina and was sealed away in the mask by the tribe that worshipped him bc they were scared of him and what he could’ve done if he was not sealed, hell we saw everything he did in Termina as just the mask, using Skull Kid as his puppet and we are given the Fierce Deity mask that gives us, link the power of a Dark God in order to fight Majora on even ground to save Termina (or we can just fight him as the hero of time and the fact that we can do that as a literal child makes me wonder about the hero of time’s power levels and is lowkey terrifying to me). Majora is mischievous and deranged and a deity to be feared almost as much as Demise himself.
I feel like it's worth mentioning that in the manga, shadow link isn't actually that evil, just a pawn to Vaati untill Zelda tells him "deep inside you're really a hero, YOU are a Link too" and he decides to help the four Links against Vaati

I wanna see a game where Ganondorf is the hero. He and link work together to stop the new villain Zelda possessed by Demise
18:27 - The Nightmares don't really belong on this list. Every action of theirs was self defense. The worst thing they ever did was kidnap BowWow, so maybe at the very beginning of the list for that? Link destroyed their entire realm & everyone in it in the end, killing even those who helped him complete his quest. If anyone from Link's Awakening belongs on this list... It's Link.
The logic of dreams being temporary doesn't hold up, as Koholint is shown to be more than just a dream. Each individual has their own personal memories and goals. The Nightmares are capable of the self preservation instinct to not want to die. Marin is capable of wishing to be a seagull & being curious about other places. They're more sentient than characters would be who're just in a dream. They also do things even when they're not in the spotlight, something dream characters wouldn't be capable of (like when Marin played her song to the Windfish). Just because this dimension is technically a dream, that doesn't make it any less of a valid alternate dimension as any other, or the murders of its inhabitants any less of a murder. (For Link that is. Not for the human player. It is absolutely still a video game.)

Yes but the Nightmares are *technically* responsible for creating Kohalint by forcing the fish to sleep in the first place. And not for any moral reasons, they wanted to eventually take it over themselves. So yeah the Nightmares do have self preservation (some of them probably weren't evil) but they weren't the good guys you think they are.
I thought wait why isn’t ganon number one but then you bring up demise and your right he’s pretty much responsible for every evil thing in the Zelda time line.
Except majora who can actually rank higher than demise and there are other villains who are worse than ganon namely veran, zant, ghirahim, yuga and astor

I enjoyed this list and I can see why demise would be considered most evil since he did set in motion most other events to come, but in my opinion Majora's mask would've been most evil seeing as it cursed people for enjoyment possessed skull kid and caused the moon to fall simply because it can and it was all a fun game for it

@Ali Ataya I don't see much much difference between evil and sadistic...and only Ganondorf was the reincarnation of Demise's hatred...all others such as majoria, Yuga, and Vaati are there own evil. That's why his destiny is the one intertwined with Link and Zelda.
@@gaminglegacy6170 Ye but what I mean is that in the timeline skyward sword is the first meaning that the hero of hyrule has not been cursed by demise but then after demise is defeated he puts a curse to have his hatred follow him and from what we know in every Zelda game the hero has been followed by an evil and also as I said they’re all reincarnations of his HATRED other than the ones who got used and stuff like the yiga clan but all does other dudes are technically a reincarnation of demise’s hatred which makes sense since the entire point of the curse is that the hero is followed by his hatred which is literally what happens in all of the games also to be fair being sadistic is evil but being evil could be sadistic or a whole lot of other stuff like causing pain to others not because you like seeing their pain but because you hate them or murder enslaving torture emotional damage
@Ali Ataya well yes Demise's hatred spread throughout history but most other villains wanted to either take over the world or just kill the hero....majora went straight for planetary genocide and cause as much chaos before hand and even if it was a part of the curse, the evil choices were still their own
I think that Skull Kid is actually given the role of gardian of the Master Sword later on, as we see in Twilight Princess.
... he has made contact multiple times with links so it makes sense that he would probably be able to sense the heroes spirit and thus gave link a trial to prove that he is ready to wield the master sword and not actually not ready to use it. It's a test to see if link is ready to use the sword of evils bane. Or if he's just naive and isn't ready to control the power of the master sword.
Are we forgetting that it's most likely a different skull kid?

Well Mario has a lot more heroic feats than Yoshi Luigi as well and Luigi is more or less often referred to as the "purest" of the Mario characters.

@@LucarioBot yeah also make her a good deal more reprehensible. I would do that by having her have more ambitious motives that being wanting to take over the land Triforce Heroes takes place in and actually wanting to kill the princess just so she can more efficiently take over. Also make her less fashion based but still egotistical about her appearance. I also think she should have a more evil looking fashion sense such as wearing a purple or blood red dress and just looking more sinister in general.

After all Umbrige wore a darker shade of pink which is why my first suggestion for Lady Maud was a purple dress rather than a simple skirt. Also the Wicked Stepmother from Cinderella doesn't physically look intimidating on first glance but she is definitely scary the more we learn about her and she wears red or purple, she also has several similarities to Umbrige.

I love Spirit Tracks, but it always make me think who the true villain was here. Because, I mean, Zelda ancestors arrived to this new land and claimed it for themselves, chasing out the original inhabitant, Malladus. Was it really evil for trying to get its home back and punishing the invaders? Uhm... I don't think so.
Also, I can't believe that in a rank of evil characters you didn't include Bongo Bongo! O_O And I don't mean him as a temple boss, but long before that. He was a human, a mere standard human, that didn't even have the excuse of being a demon or a monster or being controlled. For his terrible evil acts, Bongo Bongo had his hands cut off and punished horribly through torture for a long time. Not even after death he was allowed rest, turning into the shadow boss of the temple that was his PRISON, not his domain. I simply cannot imagine what heinous actions he may have done to deserve it all...

So we actually did get some extra backstory for Sooga. We see in a flashback that he was a lonely, starving boy, probably an orphan, who stumbled upon a Yiga encampment, and was nearly attacked by their foot soldiers, when Kohga awoke from a nap. To the young Sooga's surprise turned gratitude, instead of putting the boy out of his misery, Kohga offered the starving waif a banana, and since then, Sooga has spent his life indebted to him.

Majora is unquestionably the most evil villain in the Zelda universe. While most of the other Zelda villains like Demise and Ganon just wanted to rule the world, Majora wanted to commit genocide and destroy everything in the most disturbing ways.
And the only “prevention” listed on its near pure evil wiki page is more of a debated validation than a prevention

This line shows that Majora has an understanding of good and evil since Majora even tries to shake Link's confidence by literally saying that he's the bad guy. He also is shown to be aware of a person's strengths and weaknesses and has an understanding of them so as a result it's pretty clear that Majora knows what he's doing.

The first category should be the redeemable characters category, which includes villains who have multiple good qualities and redeemed themselves in the end. First, you should talk about all of the bad things that they did before taking about their positive traits.
Characters that you should put in the Redeemable Characters category and what you should say before talking about them:
1. If there is any Dragon Ball Villain that is the least evil of them all, it has to be Android 16.
2. For our second least evil Dragon Ball villain, we have Piccolo Jr.
3. For our third least evil villain in the Dragon Ball franchise, we have Fat Buu.
4. Next up after Fat Buu, we have Beerus.

If you succeed sooga will appear and you can use him against a blight. And he wipes the floor with it. And then he becomes unlocked.

Soga is still alive. We see him in secret end credits and he help in level when you unlock calamity ganon.
1. He doesn't show up in the level you unlock Calamity Ganon he does show up in 2 Calamity Ganon levels one where you play as him another where you fight against him and even then those levels are non canon.

In my school vr game sooga was revealed to be alive in a mission called critical omega where you play as goalius in divine beast armour and enter a Imagen order fortress goalius finds files on Zelda characters and on the yiga clan file it stated sooga status alive and in a side mission called yiga time goalius In the divine beast armour ( Pacificly In the divine beast camel mode ) enters the yiga clans old hq tooken over by Astor and sooga was found in a cell protected by guardians and the mission ended with goalius freeing sooga Astor this time assimilated by goalius and the base exploded ultimately after the mission you get the yiga clan armour and grand master sword
