Thank you so much sir, for such a free lectures. It helped me to understand correlation and regression. Your methods of teaching are superb. Keep helping others. Thank you again🙏
Very nicely explained and presented no need to refer any book. Sufficient content of correlation and regression is included in lecture 1-6. Thank you sir 😊.

Sir how to solve below question - Arithmetic mean of X and Y respectively 36 and 85 , Standard deviation of X and Y given respectively 11 and 8 . Correlation coefficient between X and Y is 0.66. find two regression lines of Y on X and X on Y.
The correlation coefficient between two variables x and y is 0.4. The correlation coefficient between 2x and (-y) will be pls sir what is 2x and (-y) treatment

Major points missing in regression 1. Significance of regression coefficient using t test at (n-k-1) where n is the number of observations, k = number of parameters) is crucial to for drawing any interpretation without which we cannot proceed 2. The interpretation of regression coefficient is bound by the units of measurement of the independent and dependent variables. 3. For correlation coefficient, the variables must be linearly associated, i.e. we cannot measure association for example between X and Y^2 or between X and Log Y, or between X^2 and Y, since we can only measure association between X and Y which are both linear. 4. For regression coefficient, the parameters must be linear. ie. the regression coefficients are linear, while the variables may be linear or non linear in general. In regression for instance non linear relationship is converted to linear relationship for estimation purposes. For example if Y = AX^B, then for estimation we use LnY = LnA + B LnX.
