We Assamese also eat this recepie..we called it as Poitaa Bhat. We also eat it with Alu-Baigain-Bilahi pitika (alu-baigain-Tomato Varta), fry alu, fry small fish, dry fry chicken and also with saag. I have ate pokhala bhata many time with my odiya friends and this dish really connect me with my homeland Assam. To be precise , this dish is very famous in Odisha, Assam and West Bengal..
