you customized settings are so sick! the rearrangement of HUD, player icons, the coloring of health/shield numbers. Walking over a gun...picks up the gun without switching your current weapon....tab shows FPS and other stats....just awesome. LOVING IT!

I’m silver 3 and this stuff really helped me out. I used to get only 10+ kills and sometimes I only got single digits. Once I changed my settings though, I started getting 20+ kills each game. I never thought settings would be able to change how well I play. Thank you!

+Kappa Ross SoLaR's got the right idea, if you want black bars use the most common resolution. Don't forget to look up the difference between Black Bars and Stretched if you're still having difficulties obtaining black bars.
Make sure you have the +exec launch option. It's layed out like this- +exec [FILE NAME OF CONFIG].cfg For instance, my config is in a text file called "autoexec.cfg" So my launch option to run it would be "+exec autoexec.cfg" Hope this helps
its the look of your character if the weapons he is holding are higher/lower as he moves if its going to move the models and stuff its prefers you change it by the base of your likes

I edited your autoexec and now I use it. It was a nice template, my old autoexec had way less commands in it :D Also I added some new ones, because I missed some important ones :D But nice work.

I don't know exactly how commands work in CS:GO, but I play TF2, and I use these special commands when using the Ambassador (the only non-sniper weapon that can headshot) bind v "fov_desired 54" (or 70, I don't remember exactly) and bind b "fov_desired " Using these allow you to (basicly) scope with any weapon. (does not affect rifles while using the actual scope). If you want, you can also set the sensitivity with it to steady-aim. Also, if your mouse has buttons on its side, I'd rather bind them, unless you have bound them to something more important.
maxim, isn't one of the shader related settings going to mess with shadows and distances you can see player shadows? i think you're better off leaving that one on the highest setting and lowering all others.

hey banna how do i get hud back to the corners it covers to much of my game and now i dont know how to move it back and before anyone says hud scale thats not it it just makes it smaller or bigger it doesn't move it from its position

Those errors will appear even if you used default CFG. It’s nothing important to worry about.

Make sure you have the +exec launch option.

Make sure the file you copied and renamed in the folder is the same name and the "+exec name" you added into the launch options on steam.
Make shure to save your "name.cfg" before you close it.
I edited your autoexec and now I use it. It was a nice template, my old autoexec had way less commands in it :D
Also I added some new ones, because I missed some important ones :D But nice work.
