In my opinion, the only reason I prefer the black-and-white version is because the characters in that version seem more natural when they move, while these are much more puppet-like and stiff. I think that if the motion here were to be a bit smoother, and honestly just going frame-by-frame in the original and coloring them in, then it would be fine, but that is very difficult to do, and probably won't look good in hindsight. All in all, pretty good.

The fact they used the PC-98 Reimu and Marisa in the ending was beyond me, considering PC-98 games are very interesting. It’s the flipping origin of Puyo Puyo for god sake.
This needs to be remade because animation has gotten much better and more advanced since this and I think now we could make the transitions a bit more smooth. Granted it is in color and honestly they did a good job on it here but I just feel like we can do better now. Also the models are very stiff and need more motion. Overall though I think this is good

Im a complete outsider to this franchise so i'm glad this version of Bad Apple confirmed my suspension that every character in the original video was unique which is massively impressive for series that's largely fan made
