sounds like you learned something about yourself buddy. Ride safe on those back roads! Make sure you tell someone where you go so you don't get stranded and stay stranded.
Okay...here’s the explanation. But this is a bike you can ride to Prudhoe Bay then down to Ushuaia Argentina... albeit after COVID....I’m thinking it’s not a sport bike but a comfy bike to ride on Sunday...should have kept it. Learn how to do your own things! Take a chance..having someone else do it or buying the Africa Twin or T700 =big$$$
You can ride a C90 scooter or bicycle to Prudhoe Bay. I do all my own maintenance, except tire changes. To turn it into a capable RTW bike I'd have to spend money that I'd rather spend on something else. Riding to Alaska or Argentina isn't something I'd really be interested in doing...i'd rather take a SUV for that kind of trip. Africa Twin though...now that's the dream bike. In the future I'll buy another adv bike, maybe a Vstrom 650. For now, my riding preferences have changed and I want something better suited for the kind of offroad riding I do.
I take it offroad. I've camped with it. It's fine for camping. I don't like it offroad or even at cruising speeds on dirt/logging roads. I don't find the suspension to be very good. The 2014 doesn't spoked wheels and that's not ideal. Also, it's kind of heavy for any serious offroad. Instead of spending money upgrading a budget Honda "adventure" bike, I went and got a bike better suited for the kind of riding I want to do.
I Agree man got the exact same feeling never buying a low reving 2 cylinder ever again.

Yeah buddy! I'll try to keep at least one wheel down....

Welcome back, I missed your videos. Did you leave Ontario?
Thanks. Nope, still in Ontario! Will be uploading videos more regularly now.
No one keep riding the same bike for ever, even if it is the 110% the right bike. 😏 like with wo......
LOL you're right...it's always good to switch things up.

Its not that fun because you don't adventure with it offroad, camp etc.
