Shear grabs as key machines for large farms
Henryk Schultz is the farm manager of Agrargenossenschaft Oberes Elbtal Reinhartsdorf e.G. With a total of 1100 head of cattle, 900 hectares of arable land and 450 hectares of grassland under cultivation, the astonishing dimensions of the farm are clear to see. Due to the decentralised location of the farm and the transport chains, Henryk invested in two shear grabs. Earlier removal devices could not withstand the daily pressure. With a high feed volume, a robust key machine is essential for the removal process. After using the MAMMUT shear grabs, a particularly smooth cut surface became visible and there was no undesirable secondary fermentation. The robust design of the MAMMUT shear grabs was therefore convincing in the daily removal process on the large farm.
