You tell as soon as you walk into these good hotels it's a good one straight away. Love how management and owners take pride in what theyre doing too with the merchandise.
What a cheek £10 for parking. And mini portions nope not going there but the room was lovely and that fire ooh I love them. Love to Gaby and casper xxxx
I work in a restaurant and we use QR codes for anyone with allergies and guide the guest through if they need for foods that may contain dairy etc or we have a very simple book. We are not allowed to chat to guest / customers as we’re not Drs and can have huge legal implications if we say something wrong. So as long as we know they have any food allergies we inform our manager and it’s down to the customer to get the right food. ( but it’s very simple )
My daughter is allergic to eggs, I didn’t realise the massive amount of food that contains egg. We were at a wedding in a big posh hotel, she asked the server to check with the chef if there was egg in the cheesecake, her reply was “ you will be fine , just eat it, if there is egg in it , it will just be a small amount “, I was absolutely livid .

This is such a good price. I’m used to NY prices and a good hotel is 500$ and up and the meals are 80$ per person and up. This is a great deal! Looks clean too! I love when you both review hotels. It’s a good perspective. Thanks from NY
My last trip to blackpool ended on not so good terms. people say been there got the t-shirt, well i went there got a beating for no apparent reason...... will i ever visit again? yes.... already planning on my next holiday
I can see why it’s got good reviews. It did give me premier inn vibes but a step up. I checked out the website and loved the enhanced choices for your stay. I think for one night it’s a good choice but a bit expensive for a week. Thanks for sharing 😊
Great review Tim. I have stayed at this hotel but I personally had a bad experience when staying with family. Our bathroom toilet was broken and the breakfast wasn’t good either. This was a few years ago during Covid so things may have improved.
We have stayed at the Big Blue numerous times and have actually been in room 432. You video reflects what a nice and homely hotel. The breakfasts are good but find the meals a little pretentious and expensive unless of course there is an offer on. The park view rooms during the season have an added atmosphere due to the noise of the rides and the crowds. Great Vlog.
Wow, ten quid to park your car. That's a bit cheeky to say the least. But the hotel looked great. The room was really nice. And you and Gaby got to stay in your favourite hotel together again (along with your little man now) in your favourite place, Blackpool! That's all that matters really, being together in a place you love. It's good to treat yourselves once in a while whilst still doing these vids for us all!
Tenner at the imperial too.. but it's better then getting your car either broken into or damaged by drunks on the seafront. It's also for the duration of your stay. Tram prices are cheap for a 24hr pass and easy to access
If you think about it, they could have just charged 160.00 a night, this way if you don't drive your quids in and not paying for something you don't need, no?
Great vlog Tim & Gaby. One hotel I don't need to visit. £10 for parking! The evening meal looked great but this is Blackpool. I want Fish n chips! and you have covered a great place to visit.

Thanks again for a good vlog with your wife and baby,I haven't stayed in Blackpool for over 28 years, but if I did again,I would love to stay in this hotel for sure.In 1990 I stayed in the Hotel Marriott in Amsterdam,we couldn't afford the breakfast, so helped ourselves to the complementary fruit on the reception desk.lol
Hi Tim Gaby and Casper, hi to Holly too. Great vlog, hotel looked really nice, clean and bright. Plenty of room in the bedroom too and nice ride view from the window. Meal looked OK but bit pricey, thanks for showing this ,was good xx
UK Parking spaces are marked out to a standard size - 4.6m long 2.4m wide - that dates back years but cars have got bigger hence the issues. Previous owner of my house built his own 1.5 x larger garage - next doors have the standard - my Duster fits comfortably in mine my neighbour struggles to get his Yaris in his.
It was a very good travel blog today when you visited the best blue big hotel in blackpool and chilling out and relaxing in there aswell tim and gaby / Casper aswell
I think you got it pretty spot on! Been going here with the better half for years and even a stay with mates. Best hotel in Blackpool by far, worth paying the extra over the standard Blackpool B&B's.
Hi Tim, love your reviews but I don’t really get this one. £150 night for a hotel in Blackpool out of season? Yes the hotel looks pleasant enough but personally I would class it as “nice budget”. I also find it amusing that people would pay £150 but complain about £10 for parking, less than £1 an hour pretty much? I’ve been very lucky to be able to stay at a lot of hotels throughout Europe with work and also personally over the years. It really amazes me what hotels cost in the UK. For similar money I can book a night in a very nice boutique hotel in Berlin or Vienna. Find yourself a budget flight and it wouldn’t cost much more. As you say it’s not for everyone, but maybe cost is one of the reasons why a lot of people don’t holiday in the UK.
Totally agree, especially with your comment about the price of decent European hotels. £150 is far too steep for an out of season room in what might fairly be described as a 'pleasant' hotel. Currently, you can find a few five star beachfront hotels in MARBELLA (!) offering room and breakfast (with large gyms, spas and pools etc) for less than £150 in early March. The evening meal look really uninspiring and the prices were outrageous for average food. Most of Gabby's meal was made up of chopped up potatoes - not even decent vegetables to cheer it up. I work in hospitality/events (in Edinburgh) and sometimes despair about what is available to foreign visitors in the UK. And, the situation is now much worse thanks to the impact of Brexit.
Absolutely stunning Hotel Tim. You can't miss it, that lovely blue building! I love the set up of your room Tim it almost looks like a Lounge the placing of the chairs & the awesome Fire! Very cosy for winter evenings looking out on to the Pleasure Park which makes a thrilling view! Especially being able to see Blackpool Tower! A lovely modern Bed head & I loved the Red flowers in the wall very designer. Would absolutely love to stay in this Room Tim! I bet the Big Blue Hot Chocolate was lovely. Liked the Bathroom lovely & clean! And nice fluffy Face Towels! I love those warm orange lights at either side of your comfy bed. Caspers looking cute he really suits that Red Jacket! Someone could take that Gym as their own personal Gym with complimentary Bathroom included! Gaby looking very glamorous for an lovely evening meal. Lovely eating place downstairs 😍 Loved that Blue dangling foliage hanging down from the ceiling in the middle of the Restaurant. I wouldn't mind paying extra for a lovely meal in there if it's quite expensive. Starters looked amazing I'm chuffed you & Gaby did a food review. Gabys Duck looked very yummy I'd love that portion size too! Your Bakewell Tart looks spot on👌 £150 bed & breakfast in it's position in Blackpool is probably a good price, what do you reckon about the price Tim?
Just got back from a week in Bpl and stayed in an amazing B and B which i Highlights recommend The Kimberley near Gynn Square . The Owners Sue and Martin are lovely the brekkie is outstanding , lovely rooms and very comfortable beds x Maybe its somewhere you could Review in the future x Love to the 3 of you from Wales x
Apparently The Hotel Inspector is expanding her remit in the next series to include tourist attractions, pubs, and holiday parks.... Shall we all email in and suggest Pontins, can you imagine😂😂😂
I have stopped in the big Blue l would recommend it lovely breakfast and evening meals the only down side it is expensive in the holiday season and paying parking a bit pricey.
Stayed there for work a few years back, i was shocked when i got the booking paper work as they normally booked us into travelodge, it was very nice indeed, but i could not justify the cost to stay there if i was paying myself. The breakfast was also spot on.
WOW. I love Blackpool and have often wondered what this hotel is like. After seeing your latest video Tim, I am definitely going to book a room in the summer x
Wow. What a groovy looking hotel. Its nice to see a place falling apart. The baby looks like you Tim, I know Holly wasn't there but she looks like Gabbie.
Wish more hotels have separate sleeping areas for kids in their rooms. We're getting to the stage now that the kids are getting too old to spend the night in the same room as us (and we want our privacy too!) - the hotels in Butlins Bognor are designed with this in mind and are fantastic, and the since closed Cathedral Hotel in Salisbury (which was a worst rated that was not Britannia!) had this feature too in their "family rooms" (really 2 rooms with a connecting door and an en-suite shoehorned in for both rooms as it's an old building). Yet there's nothing in the budget range of hotels that has this - maybe we need to look away from the Travelodge we normally use and look elsewhere....
Oh yes I'd already seen this vlog Tim. On The Big Blue 💙 Hotel your Best Rated Hotel in Blackpool & I've done a comment on this page. The Dubai comment I did has landed elsewhere, I'm not sure where that one went🤣 Its a lovely Hotel! Very funky & modern with a luxurious edge! If I get to stay in Blackpool I will definitely check this one out!
food did look very small portions and I don't think id be happy with that amount at that price rooms did look nice thou suppose your paying for the location and if you a rollercoaster fan you'd love it
Hello both, great video,I thought parking your car is a bit pricey, the balcony would be a favourite as watching it in the summer, nice restaurant cosy and looks nice to eat.
I love Blackpool, I've been coming to balckpool for holidays ever sense I was younger and I have never stayed at the big blue it's definitely somewhere me and my husband would love to stay it's definitely on our to do list.
I've not stayed in there, but I did spend a few hours in the quiet but, during a world cup final a few years back... the room was fantastic, with an amazing view of the Pleasure Beach... bit over my budget though, even with passholder discount!
absolutely love your videos . my wife has a mobility scooter and it would be great if you included details about how easy or hard it would be in each hotel ...many thanks
Noice. I'm actually staying in Blackpool at the moment too. Staying in a Premiere Plus room at the new Premiere Inn near the tower, after seeing your video on them; they're a decent little upgrade.
Hi Tim have you tried the Dakota on Ducie Street in Manchester it's been open about a year and a half now its certainly not cheap but well worth the money and is absolutely magnificent , also tbe Hotel Alan on Princess Street Manchester which used to be the Arora , its been stripped back to its former glory and is also excellent I have stayed in them both , my favourite in Manchester is the Malmaison by the way .
It looks to be a very nice place, but the daring side of me would rather stay in one of the dumps that Tim has reviewed. I'm not particularly tight with my money, but these upscale places have factored out all the grand adventure. :D
I really liked this - a nice hotel with all the comfort details you would expect in a room...and my hub would love the view of the rollercoaster, sitting next to the fire! 😊 Good to see Gaby and little Casper too.
As for parking I've been noticing parent with child parking spaces in a few parking lots usually next to my disability parking spaces. Here in British Columbia Canada.
I wondered what it was like inside this hotel when I was last at the pleasure beach , thought it would be great over looking the rides and hearing the screams 😊 lovely room and so clean
I have never stay at the blue hotel when visiting Blackpool. I normally stay down the north end and last time I was in Blackpool was 2020 and have book up for Blackpool this year. I am staying in the imperial, believe they are redecorating there swimming pool, from looking at your vlog on the Blue hotel, it makes me think I would love the blue hotel. Last time when I was in Blackpool got the tram down the south side one morning, walk along the sea front and the big one was running, but there only seem to be one person on it. So it looks like that someone was trying out the ride.
Good video Tim liked the hotel I agree with you with your dinner not much on your plates or bowl wow ten quid that's not good at all I would not stay there as have to pay for parking I have not stayed there before I would though if it was not for having to pay for parking
Went to a work meeting there in 2018. Stayed in a suite which was beautiful with separate bedroom with sliding doors. Went to boulevard in 2019 which was gorgeous with marble walls and tv bathroom. Great hotels
We have stayed there twice. Having never been to Blackpool before, it was a bit of a lottery booking somewhere to stay for a couple of nights. Found it on the internet and booked it. Couldn’t fault the service, room or really anything. Nice bar area with friendly staff if not the cheapest. Ate in the restaurant each night. Again not cheap but food was good and again couldn’t fault the service. Tram stop literally 5 minutes walk from the front door. Yes, not good that you now have to pay to park, but most hotels charge nowadays. Would certainly be our first choice hotel if we ever go back.
I stayed there last year for the opening day of the pleasure Beach, my room was lovely but I did have an issue with the shower preasure which I reported and didn't get fixed but apart from that I had a good experience and would definitely try it again and hopefully with a fully functioning shower. My room must of been pretty close to yours because your view is pretty much the same view I had as well.
We have been going since it opened, when my kids were younger, they had the old fashioned portable TV in the kids area, my son wanted to take his PlayStation, so we had to carry that, haha, loved staying there though, and your babys gorgeous, brill vlog
We visited Blackpool last July for 2 days at Pleasure Beach, stayed at the Velvet Coaster Apartments which I recommend. I was shocked at how run down Blackpool is in general, so we were happy to snag good accommodation at Velvet right next to Pleasure Beach. I don't have any reason to go back to Blackpool as we just visited for the park, but this hotel does look like a good option. Though as a Coeliac, that big book of allergens is a bit of a joke! 🙄
Sunday morning tradition, pot of coffee and catch up with Walk with me Tim 🔥We have noticed this place a few times on our visits, definitely looking to book a room there now for the the wife and I

Staying in a Premiere Plus room at the new Premiere Inn near the tower, after seeing your video on them; they're a decent little upgrade.
they are nice .. thats a nice premier inn
Nice One Guys .Great Vlog As Always❤💯.
Thank you 🙌
Hi Tim have you tried the Dakota on Ducie Street in Manchester it's been open about a year and a half now its certainly not cheap but well worth the money and is absolutely magnificent , also tbe Hotel Alan on Princess Street Manchester which used to be the Arora , its been stripped back to its former glory and is also excellent I have stayed in them both , my favourite in Manchester is the Malmaison by the way .
It looks to be a very nice place, but the daring side of me would rather stay in one of the dumps that Tim has reviewed. I'm not particularly tight with my money, but these upscale places have factored out all the grand adventure. :D
That looks a lovely hotel, would certainly consider it for a trip to Blackpool. Thanks for the info, very informative. xx
Our pleasure!
I really liked this - a nice hotel with all the comfort details you would expect in a room...and my hub would love the view of the rollercoaster, sitting next to the fire! 😊 Good to see Gaby and little Casper too.
Looks lovely and great video as always
As for suggestions there is a lighthouse you can stay in in Kingsgate kent
Thanks for the tip!
This comment was supposed to end up on the windmill video but oh well haha you saw it anyway
Snakeskin furniture? Try Crocodile - it would be an awfully big snake! - - Tiny lift for eight people you'd have to be VERY friendly!
lol
Good video Tim liked the hotel I agree with you with your dinner not much on your plates or bowl wow ten quid that's not good at all I would not stay there as have to pay for parking I have not stayed there before I would though if it was not for having to pay for parking
Went to a work meeting there in 2018. Stayed in a suite which was beautiful with separate bedroom with sliding doors. Went to boulevard in 2019 which was gorgeous with marble walls and tv bathroom. Great hotels
Great review lovely hotel and your room was cozy, bit cheeky to have to pay £10 parking x😊
Tell me about it
Nice vlog tim and gaby. Should get sponsored Tim well done on 150k subs
lol I know if only there was a buy 20 get one night free
This looks like a very stylish hotel Tim, your room looked very nice and well appointed, thanks for sharing another quality vlog 👍
Glad you enjoyed it
We have stayed there twice.
Lift still bigger than the apartment you had.. either Ibiza or Menorca. Enjoying a cuppa watching the coasters sounds fun
The hotel looks fantastic, loved seeing little Casper he is such a cutie.
Looks very nice, a video on the new hotel next door would be good for comparison please! 😀
We have been going since it opened, when my kids were younger, they had the old fashioned portable TV in the kids area, my son wanted to take his PlayStation, so we had to carry that, haha, loved staying there though, and your babys gorgeous, brill vlog
Thanks Catherine
@@WalkWithMeTim aww no problem
The imperial has merge x never stayed there and I’m in Blackpool allot interesting to watch
Sunday morning tradition, pot of coffee and catch up with Walk with me Tim 🔥We have noticed this place a few times on our visits, definitely looking to book a room there now for the the wife and I
Love that!
We are in Hotel right now and loving it 🎉🎉

Love the look of this hotel! 👍🏻👍🏻
It's quite a nice place, I would stay there. Is paying for parking only since covid or before.
Awesome video again…as always.
