She is going to do 23andme but doesn't care about her birth family. I, too, was adopted. I found my birth parents. I know the 'I want to look them in the eye' feeling though others didn't understand! I got to look my both father in the eyes, even though he had dementia. I became good friends with my birth mother and stay in touch with cousins. Both birth parents have passed on, but it was a good feeling to have known them and my story. Keep going!
