This may be an odd video request, but I’m going to NYC June 15-18 and I have an idea of what to wear but I’d love to see what YOU wear on a warm day that’ll turn cold in the night while in the city. Would you be able to do a NYC every day lookbook?! Or help a sista out! 😭
Michi Contreras sweatshirt with a skirt so it could be warm at night but cool during the day
^^ Tbh I'd recommend against the sweatshirt & skirt idea. You'll be sweating bullets. My go to for nyc in summer is a short dress or sundress with short spandex underneath for walking. (Gotta be prepared for the unexpected Marilyn Monroe wind gust 😅) Then cute/casual sneakers (think Adidas or keds) and a light jacket I can stuff in my purse or tie around. If I'm going to a nicer event I'll swap the sneakers for cuter, less practical shoes and maybe a blazer or wrap instead of the jacket. Also bring a pair of nice sunglasses and a cute purse/bag
Fyi I live in NJ about 40 minutes from NYC. I go in pretty often with friends and family and used to for school field trips. Last week (june 3) I was in nyc for a show and I brought a super thin jacket but didn't need it.
I love live in NYC and it's really not that cold at night so a flannel would be enough.

I bought 19 things from Yesstyle the other week and all of them, with the exception of one little black bralette I don’t remember buying, were great. The tee-shirts only had the iron-on patches but I expected that since the tees were AU$10. A lot of Asian brands don’t pierce the denim buttons through the prove that the clothes are new and haven’t been worn, so you have to cut the button holes yourself but it’s super easy to do. I’ve been looking for knit dresses like those for ages! It’s cold and rainy in Sydney so those would be perfect to throw on to look cute in this gloom 💘
I had some bad purchases from yesstyle too but since then I mostly look out for the most rated/popular ones if it's sale time and most of them are wearable! anyway, loved this video. looking gorgeous as always

You should try Aritzia!! They have really good quality clothing and are a higher end price but totally worth it!! Love youuuuuuu babes

For yesstyle you really have to read reviews before buying otherwise you could end up with total crap but I agree about the quality

There are better/more expensive brands on yesstyle. Off the top of my head I can only name chuu but there are a lot that are really good.
Are the darker denim shorts from zara that you linked the correct ones? They look so different on the website :/ I love how yours look though and have been searching for ones like that forever, also I have a very similar body type to you (i never see people who do) and also struggle finding good fitting shorts, so this would be perfect!
