How to make homemade Berry or fruit Ice cream​⁠​⁠‪@JDmeals‬
Berry chocolate chip ice cream
Ingredients
320 g strawberries, blueberries and raspberries
50 g granulated sugar
300g double cream
1 cup of condensed milk
¼ cup white and dark chocolate chips or meringue
1 tsp vanilla if desired
Instructions
In a large pan add sugar then heat it on medium-high until it melts and is crystallized.
Add all the berry fruit and stir well. Cook on high for 5 minutes while stirring constantly then turn off the hop.Blend and leave to cool down.
In another bowl, add double cream and whisk until it is thick, fluffy and soft. Add condensed milk then chocolate chips and fold in gently.
Add ¾ of berry sauce to make a ripple pattern then pour into the freezer container and freeze for at least 6 hours or overnight. Use the leftover sauce when serving it.
Take the ice-cream 30 minutes out of the freezer before serving and put it in the fridge.
