Cette vidéo est d'une richesse, d'une qualité et d'une vérité hors de ce monde. Merci de nous permettre de vivre une telle expérience grâce à ton travail remarquable. Je suis sans mots...
Arrived back in Montreal to start my second semester at McGill today and was feeling pretty down with the grey sky, freezing rain, and early sunset today, missing my home town, etc. Stumbled upon this video and it cheered me right up: made me fall in love with the city again and reminded me of one of the reasons I chose McGill in the first place. Thank you :)
In 1881, Mark Twain described Montreal as a city “where you couldn’t throw a brick without breaking a church window.” In 2016, we might describe Montreal as a city where you can’t throw a brick without hitting something beautiful. Seriously, you can’t even walk to the pharmacy, on a warm June night, to pick up some garbage bags, without being left speechless again and again and again. Oh, and let me be clear, the beauty of which I speak, the beauty of this great city, is not the natural and thus accidental beauty of BC or Banff. Vanity is a virtue here in Montreal, and the city’s beautiful because it wants to be. Something wonderful is happening in this city. Despite corruption scandals that would make a Latin American dictator blush. Despite crumbling municipal infrastructure that’s made much of downtown look like the perfect place to shoot a post-apocalyptic disaster movie. Despite all of these things, and against all odds, there’s a buzz of creativity here right now unlike anything I’ve seen before in my lifetime.
The video gives you a very different perspective of the city of Montreal, moving seamlessly from one area to another with a mesmerizing and riveting energy.. I really enjoyed seeing time pass at high speed, a day from morning till night, seasons seamlessly changing within minutes and we, the viewers keep moving, on and on and on through the whole city of Montreal. And yet, you don’t feel rushed or stressed by the movement. It’s paced so well. I love the contrast of the structures being stable and immobile and elements like people, vehicles, water, skies constantly in transition. How clever! All those moving ‘people ants' are what give the video an extra boost of energy and flux….like the short strokes in impressionist painting. BRAVO!
Woah , the amount of efforts that you have put in is just incredible and so is the video 💯 if I have tell which was best video you ever watched on TH-cam? It’s definitely going to be this amazing piece of work. Hats off !!
This is amazing. I studied in Montreal five years ago and your video reminds me of all the good old times and makes me want to move back there! Thank you!
This is the best Hyperlapse timelapse video I've ever seen till now. I've seen almost all top rated hyperlapses on youtube but this one was just unbelievable. On LOOP. Great job.
This was a mesmerizing and visually stimulating journey through my favourite city... you've captured the essence, feel, groove, variety, pace and intoxicating charm of Montréal like I have never seen or experienced before. Amazing!
This is amazing! I live in Montreal, it gave me goosebumps while watching! Like so many others have said on here, you've managed to capture the beauty of this great and unique city in a way I've never seen it before -- fantastic, and well done.
This is an absolutely marvelous video. I'll be using it to describe the city I love so much. Only thing missing is the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve... But other than that, it's truly brilliant. :)
this is a great view of Montreal, but being fairly new here it would have been nice if some of the more notable places were subtitled as I would love to go see them up close
There's a lot: Chalet du Mont-Royal, Notre-Dame Basilica, St-Joseph Oratory, Mount-Royal Cross, McGill campus, UQUAM, Université de Montréal, Old Montreal, St-Paul Street, Place Jacques-Cartier, Parc Lafontaine, Parc du Mont-Royal, Montreal's underground, Complexe Desjardins, Place des Arts (Quartier des spectacles), St-Catherine streel, Pont Jacques-Cartier, Olympic Stadium, Place Ville-Marie, Clock Tower (Old Port) and so much more...
still one of the best hyperlapse videos out there!
Speechless, that music even made it better
