@Vendresse yea, i'm well aware of Ace da Brain's work! Also known as ace's delight, and has a collab with someone else called Pervading Call. Anyway, I knew he's the brains behind Acosta's productions, but i didn't know he also produces for Talla 2XLC, that's pretty cool. Yea, i've heard the mixed version on touched and also on The Next Level, i wish it were released... really a unique track.
Please can anyone help me out? I was in Hamberg the Reeperbahn in 1996 on the underground trance scene , where i fell in love with trance. Marc & Ace conquest paradise was released in 1999, but i had a tape from 1 off the clubs in 1997 with whats i think was very similar whth the whale sound and pan flute. And im trying to find that mix. I know it was a long time ago, but I brought that tape back to the UK in 1997. Iwas in the Army and my posting back to the UK WAS 1997 and that was also the year i met my soul m8 trance queen, who is still my queen and wife and life, my world off 24 years. I want to get the original track for our 21st anniversary, as after clubbing at 03:00 in the morning, we used to drive out into the country and mealt into the tunes. Thanks if anyone can help
I can’t really help you but I do know that it was Andreas Schmidt (Ace Da Brain/Ace’s Delight) who actually wrote, composed & produced this record (‘The Reaper’).
One of the greatest and best trance tracks... so much emotion, so great arrangement... main part is the one of the most epic... sad, powerful, everything. Something for the funeral :) Similar performance with the strongest build-up is Airfire´s- No Signs of Life th-cam.com/video/m-DImnUC1D4/w-d-xo.html ... yeah good old times.. thanks to Andy Schmidt alias Ace Da Brain !!
You know what I really like about this song? Other than how epic it is, it's the arrangement of the track. It doesn't exactly follow the Intro-Breakdown-Buildup-Chrous-Outro progression most trance these days does. It's a tiny bit different after the chorus. And can you please uplaod Secret Memory - (George Acosta meets Marc La Cruz Remix)? IT"S SOOOO GOOOD! I can't tell if I like that better than this song. O btw, secret memory also defies the typical track progression that I mentioned earlier
